This Zune vs iPod stuff is getting rather gay. Their MP3 players, people. Apple just got the win because they have more of a Notoriety in music players/phones than microsoft. I personally prefer the Zune over the NANO. I didn't say the iPod Touch. That is probably the best MP3 player on the market currently. But if we're talking Nano vs Zune 8gb, then I personally like Zune better. It is more user friendly, Wireless Synching, and i personally like the design of the zune better. Nano's are too

My bro got a black Zune 3G for Christmas 2 years ago, I got a Nano 4G 2 years ago. His is bulky, ugly and doesn't have an accelerometer. My iPod is WAYYY better. The ONLY thing the Zune has that is better is that it does have a radio.

You don't really have to buy the songs from iTunes, you can get them from your own CD's, you can get them from other online music stores (Rhapsody,Napster,etc.), or you can get them from places like FrostWire or MP3 Rocket. :) As long as the songs are formatted in the formats that the iPod support & you know how to add them onto your iTunes (file, add a file, add to library) you can get them from pretty much anywhere you choose.

Ipods run on MTP, meaning it needs a program to exchange songs between computer and ipod. Im not %100 sure about the zune, but im pretty sure it uses MSC, meaning that you connect it like a flash drive and drag and drop files.

this was incredibly biased. Not using any of these extensively, I can still tell you that Zune's navigation is much better and easiet to get around. I agree that iPod has better style. Value: Zune has all of the features of the nano plus more, minus the battery life (but nano's 27 hours over zune's 24 house of music isn't all that much.) Compatability shouldn't be an entire catagory, that was definitely biased. If you really wanted to, you could get Parallels for Mac.

I don't agree with the software rating for zune, I've used both extensively and the zune's software is really slick and light. iTunes is really intensive and bulky. I also think that the zune's mixview is ALOT better than iTunes genius. The rest of the video was quite fair though.
