Opera crashes all the time, Chrome is a system resource hog, I use FireFox because it has No Script and Adblock add-on features, speed is not of primary importance, safety is.

right now my google chrome dev. edition browser is beating my opera 10.6 browser in my xp partition

I personally use Firefox and think that it's overall the best. Also starts up quite fast in spite of the tons of addons I use. Of cource I tried out other browsers, but none of them really persuaded me to switch. Chrome feels smoother, but none of its adblock addons work nearly as good as Firefox Adblock Plus, which really annoyed me. I just don't like Opera, its UI feels somehow sloppy to me. And IE is just lagging behind every else.

I'm a fan of FireFox and Google Chrome myself. I like to switch every once in a while. They're both good in my opinion. FireFox is just more stable; for example, their add-ons are a bit better than Google Chrome. AdBlock for FireFox works ten times better than the one in Chrome. The add-ons in Chrome just feel flimsy. But Chrome is dead fast, much faster than FireFox (especially with load time). FireFox for power, Chrome for speed. The combination of the two will make one epic browser.
