  • RESPECT FROM TURKEY ! Fuckin awesome...

  • ..I don't even know how I got here. It was like Magic!

  • Apart from the aalap in the song the lyrics are urdu. Here's how they go as per my limited knowledge.

Lyrics: Jab qayamat(?), gulistan ko to khoon. Maine diyaa.

Roughly tranlates into: On the day of judgement(?), I was the one who gave my blood to the garden of roses.

What it means? Well, that's up to what you're willing to interpret, isn't it?

    Peace.

  • @virajvkc Hey thanks a lot!

  • Oh my god, I haven't heard this kind of music for awhile.

  • Heard the song 'The Opening', and thought wow that's real good. heard this, holy balls I'm buying this album... I don't like any other song but the two haha. The genre is soooo different.

  • Bravo!

  • I swear I've heard this song used in an Adult Swim black screen at some point. I may be wrong, but Adult Swim does look at and expose some really great musicians / tracks.

  • I just randomly came across Saltillo's music on youtube yesterday, and I liked it so much I bought this Cd the very same day!

  • @ilovedyou88 there's another new release this month :D

  • I want to go back to Egyptt!

  • Is this album on iTunes??

  • On a roleplaying server in a game called Garrysmod, this was played by an admin for the burial of two well known characters. Fit perfectly.

  • Is this Rahat on sample?

Can somebody from Pakistan confirm this?

  • Saltilo's productions are mad diverse!

  • i used to play violin like this then i took an arrow in the knee

  • @teomanrav nice skyrim refrence

  • @retropancakeful haha, this makes me laugh.

  • @ProtoGrey hahaha may i know why?

  • Saltillo is the name of a city in the north-eastern part of mexico...

  • For those who say hip-hop or its derivatives suck, here you are. Words from a metalhead, who are famous for hating hip-hop.

  • almost all strings, but so kickass :) love it :D

  • the best music is always underrated

  • yup, just saved my life. thanks

  • This is just.... Stunning.. It's so beautiful..

  • buena rola

  • RESPECT FROM POLAND. Great...

  • @cfaniakdebesciak yeap respect from poland too, so beauty..

  • whats sad imo is that many people listen to trip hop, big beat, many kind of break styles, in youtube, in commercials and they like it, but they dont bother finding more of the same genre. Its always the clients fault imo :P

  • Places my whole mind into another state or being. I am walking through the mall and listening to this makes everything seems so damn materialistic and truly worthless. It's because this music brings out a spirituality that goes beyond materialistic wants. Corporate greedy bastards with all the power don't want the majority to think. I think that's a bit relevant...

  • @Demoniqueful Of course it's relevent mate, Why else would we have these talentless autotuned fucking pricks in the charts today instead of saltillo, the music industry along with any corperation for that matter want's to keep everyone simpleminded so that they can sell their useless shit to materialistic people and keep them closeminded by telling them what's popular and what isn't . We live in a sad world .

  • @Demoniqueful If i put things together i guess i know why the radio doesn´t play such music

  • one of the most beautiful songs i have ever heard. there's not a single second that you could improve.

  • Is it NFAK?

And what was the original song?

  • this is ear-boggling

  • This stuff gave me the chills.

  • Fucking amazing, pure emotion, thank you for creating this masterpiece!

  • This is an amazing instrumental...

It's the latest song on my channel.

  • Proof that people are getting dumber. only 61,--- views? that's ridiculous

  • skrzypce .. <3

  • @saranazara : Its URDU

  • whos voice is it? i cant recognixze it!! is it NFAK?? or rahat??!!

  • i adore the first part with the cellos only <3

  • it's different than the others.... mistical i think.

  • very strong song.

    love the melody too good!

  • OMG <3

  • one of the most emotional pieces of music that i have ever had the pleasure to feel and listen, there is light in hearing music like this, in a time where most are out of rhythm and the soul in music in a contemporary age has lost its vision, this piece has completely inspired a new movent of expression and a new choregraphy for my being, i look forward to creating with this music..... Thankyou for your vision, absolutely, infinately beautiful....

  • Somehow makes me think of Akira Yamaoka's music.

    It's still awesome

  • @Pietreszcz A fellow Akira fan who likes Saltillo? Sweeeet.

  • O kurwa, włączyłam i odpłynęłam, nie byłam w stanie tego wyłączyć. To jest.. no zajebiste xD

  • Amazing )

  • when I listen to this song only battle scenes comes in my mind.... like the war in Iraq... Afghanistan... Kosovo... castualties etc... :).... very sad song

  • @LEX91SPETSNAZ yes i feel it but whats up with the "etc....:)" lol no need to smile about war sir . bake love not war

  • This song draws me the end of the world. So beatiful so sad.

  • I just found this recently. And it is seriously the most beautiful thing I've heard in a very very long time. I am so happy I found this. Thank you, Saltillo.

the amazing sound cannot be described with amazing alone

  • my mind was blown at 0:47

  • I'm so happy I finally found this artist again. The music is just so...amazing.

  • the fact that this music is so under-appreciated probably makes me like it even more.

its a shame this isnt on the radio, but a part of me likes knowing that very few other people enjoy saltillo as i do :)

  • Such beautiful :)

  • amaziiiiiiiiiiiiing.... don't want to put too much in here because its unnecessary....

  • I'm assuming the singer is Rahat Fateh Ali Khan - his voice is timeless

  • this kinda makes me feel like committing suicide!

  • yeri var

  • awsome song i wish i knew what he was saying though.. if anyone can translate this let me know it would awsome

  • really great song.very emotional.TRIP HOP for life!!!!!

  • serendipity

  • sad

  • yea it is URDU xD PAKISTAN FTW

  • @yasir25119918 Pakistan are unlikely to win anything. Great song though

  • This = brilliant.

  • Btw, I got the album and for grafting it says "ft. Paul Mercer"

  • Aha, guys btw. Im indian and Im pretty certain its either Hindi or Urdu, since they are 95% similar. Like he says in the first line of the singing he talks about his hearts world. Then further on about giving his "blood for his country". My mum translated a bit, I only understand a few words in the song. Its defo not Ravi Shankar. This isnt his style. The emphasis with the throat leads me to believe it is Urdu, but I may be wrong.

  • its urdu for sure.

  • it is very pure form of Urdu the one Mirza Ghalib used to speak.

  • This brings me back to the days I played viola...I miss those days. It is also the ONLY song that I like that is indian, growing up as an indian I always hated Indian songs, this changed my mind.

  • Comment removed

  • Yep, Paul Mercer. Saltillo really deserves more credit. His music is amazing...

  • Lol put it in one of my playlists... I don't do that as often anymore. ;)

  • It's okay.

  • It boggles my mind how all that pop crap that keeps on playing in radio makes millions of dollars and pure musical geniuses like Saltillo only get to few affocinados... what a pity, and how unfair.

  • FUCK THE INDUSTRY

  • Life is unfair, we have to live with that. Which sucks...

  • @86kinky86 Your question sums up what is the true nature of the world we live in. radio(and tv and all other pop culture bosses for that matter) do not care for beauty or genious. They care for placing their products, so all consumerzombies buy and buy and try to look like their 'heroes'and dress like clones of their 'heroes' and drink and eat what their pop culture icons drinka nd eat. Once they break from that spell they can start looking around and see true ebaty and true gems...

  • @86kinky86

I totally feel you, it goes on to tell you a lot about the current generation's taste inclinations. It really is a pity.

  • @86kinky86 Who cares?

  • @86kinky86 Good things are rare...

  • @86kinky86

    i agree with u

  • @86kinky86

I couldn't agree with you more. But maybe the reason why we find saltillo so amazing is 'cause It's not on the radio/tv. Atleast I'm glad that this music isn't something you get tired after hearing a thousand times on radio/tv every day.

    :)

  • @86kinky86 well you know, this is music that makes you feel a bit more alive when you listen to it. surfing an ocean of pop crap is a small price to pay for me, I think Saltillo figures he is not gonna be on worldwide radio, yet I sense a great deal of "passion for the craft" in this song/album, maybe thats enough.

pop crap is not a pity, but the notion that most ppl likes crap... that why they broadcast it xD

  • @86kinky86 Great minds think alike my friend and are not many. Pop music is for the masses.

  • Comment removed

  • @86kinky86 i think it only makes it that much more satisfying to find good artists after sifting through all the shit out there. finding the buried sonic treasures as you go, diving deeper and deeper into genres and stumbling upon things you never would have expected. but i still agree with you.

  • @86kinky86

Same reason the crap at McDonald sells. People love cheap mass produced mediocracy.

  • @86kinky86

Saltillo isn't in it for the money. He understands the meaning of true music and wishes to pass it on to others who search for melodies far superior than mainstream. Ponder no longer as to why people don't find true meaning in their pop music.

  • @86kinky86

Unfair, maybe. But I for one am actually rather grateful for that fact. It makes music like this all the more precious and appreciable. Similar to finding a small oasis in a desert. You walk through the barrenness of music that fails to appease your senses and all of a sudden come upon a gem such as this. You want to share it, but at the same time you want to protect it. It's what separates creating for money versus creating for love and beauty's sake.

  • @86kinky86 I don't think he made this music for money!

  • well its a fusion n i love it.....

its indian song a classical one saying we do not make world.....

    but compo is amazing....

  • Hey,

Do you know the name of the Indian singer? Thx!

I think this is truly an awesome song.

  • i dont know but it must be from one of the pundit ravishankar or jasraj but im not sure... but u can find them here if u can...

  • I think its paul mercer

  • this is the most emotional song ive heard, this guy is a genius. It will probably be my next outro

  • My favourite track from the album along with J. The Baptist & Remember Me.

    Beautiful song.

  • Beautiful
