Man Prince is one heck of a writer and composer. I love when he was writing songs for The Time, The Family, Shelia E. etc. I hope he goes back to writing for other people one day. I love how The Time just take this and tear it up live! Definitely some bad brothers.
THE LAST GREAT PERFORMING BAND YEEESSSS!! SUITS,HATS,MOVES AND INSTRUMENTS WHAT MORE CAN YOU ASK FOR "THAT APPLONIA BABE I SAW LAST NIGHT" CHILI SAUCE
Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis produce some damn good songs. They are my favorite producers of all time, and the most successful producers of all time, passing Elvis's producer.
don't sleep on Jerome Benton, that muthafucka knows exactly when to step in and be on point with it. I saw him on one of Tom Joyner summer concert's, break out and did a slip like it was no one's business.
I have the Time perform without Jerome and it isnt the same. They had two clowns in suits trying to do the steps and hold the mirror with Morris and it just didnt look right.

So underrated...They had it all, instrumentaion, charisma, coreography.
Unfortunately not of that meant a whole heck of a lot as the 90's came to a close.
