if it does to other people, i dont disagree. basicly, its your mind playing tricks on you to belive its all real when its acually not. the shadows and times when its stops its normal setting is when you know somthing going to come out of nowhere.
I'm not going to see it because of Daniel Radcliffe.. I do like him, yes, however, this looks like a genuinely good horror film and the book was very good.

Looks interesting but, let's face it, it can never be as good as the stage show. The play relies so heavily on its audience's imagination (through mime and physical theatre), and that does not translate to the screen. Plus the atmosphere in the theatre is always - I've seen it twice - absolutely chilling. Will be watching the movie anyway, though.
it has never been made in black and white, tho i too watched in black and white cos i had a portable one in my bedroom the christmas eve it was originally shown!! was still possibly the scariest thing ive seen tho susan hill herself admits the play is far more in keeping with her book..I would bet the new film will be a disappointment

I'm not going to argue about it because I know what I saw I know what its about and I know that there is one. @cheekykid28 It's not out in cinema's till 2012, so you can't really say that. Plus when my high school put this into a production we had everybody screaming. It is a good story, it is a good plot and it is a creepy story. Sure the black and white film is bad now but back in its time it was actually quite good. So don't blow on something until you have actually seen it.
@DestinyxMusic I have already seen it... me and some mates got given these tickets to watch it before so that we could give feedback on it. well other people might find it scary but personally i found it more funny tbh
