  • I know some hiragana, should i skip katakana and start studying kanji?

And where do i even start?

  • @EmoZerot Katakana is often used to write Japanese word. For example,“Harehareyukai" and “Youtube". Also Japanese children learn hiragana and katakana before learning kanji in school. So you should learn katakana before you learn kanji. And you should master hiragana first.

    I hope you master Japanese!

    片仮名は日本語の単語を書くためにしばしば使用されます。

    例えば、『ハレ晴レユカイ』と『ユーチューブ』。

    さらに日本人の子どもは学校で漢字を学習する前に平仮名と片仮名を学習します。

    したがって、漢字を学習する前に、片仮名を学習するべきです。

    また、平仮名を最初にマスターするべきです。

    私はあなたが日本語をマスターすることを望んでいます!

A recommendation, so you avoid loosing time like I did. For studying kanjis, use Heisig's and Kanjidamage's keywords and make mnemonic stories. Also, learn the most used kanjis, and then quickly start reading a lot. This helps a lot.
