@crivatf You put your foot fully down on the accelerator and the brake at the same time and put the ignition to position 2. The display changes to ECN and if there is a fault it will show the number.
You can then google for it. The code may identify a fault condition, but not the immediate cause of it.
This is what Vauxhall Dealerships in the UK conned customers over by charging £50 a go to read the error codes. Shame on them.
