Councilman Alleges Cover-Up in Kelly Thomas Beating (PBS SoCal)

How long does it normally take for people being charged to be brought before the courts in the USA. Kelly Thomas was killed at the beginning of July last year and it is over 7 months. The DA's office seem to be dragging their heels and one starts to wonder why. If it was a police officer's killing was being investigated and the suspects were to hand they would have been in the dock by now if only to plead guilty or not guilty. Has there been a court hearing at all?

Try to lay still while police officers are choking you to death, that's what they expect. This happens every single day without witnesses. Police will kill you or beat you unrecognizable, especially if they think nobody cares about you and 99.9999% of the time they get off with a promotion, seriously.

This level of corruption MUST be investigated and prosecuted to the fullest extent.

Though the cop's statement and putting on his gloves clearly shows "premeditation"

Aiding and abetting capital or even 2nd degree murder is such a level of corruption that our NATION demands accountability. Period.
