there are plenty of snapes scenes to show. 5. quiditch obviously can be replaced. 6. hermione and ron can be replaced with the the book hitting scene 7. flashback of voldemort, another obvious one. 8. malfoy/harry ron/hermione fight = bathroom and bird scenes 9. ginny = kissing scene or "take my hand" scene 10. death mark = death mark :) 11. harry/hermione = "you have to realise who you are" scene 12. pensive = harry looking into it scene logo=logo the line that hermione says was in HBP as well.

well, as ive said looking at the HBP trailers, i could redo this entire trailer with scenes that look exactly the same :D

Harry's dream in the beginning is the only thing i cant replace.

I'll run it down for you guys:

1. first scene is of students in school = the scene with student walking the halways.

2. ron-hermione-ginny = easy scenes, ron in love, hermione in library, ginny with harry.

3. dumbledore/pensive = obvious dumbledore showing the memory

4. Snape teaching wasnt shown, but

Its funny now that I look at it, I could replace each scene with one from the trailers that are out. So i say I pretty much nailed how the HBP trailer should look like :P

well you cant make a fan trailer without using previous films :) unless you steal footage from WB :P ....maybe the fan trailers you are thinking of are the fan remakes, which are basicly a brand new trailer made after the movie was released, but this as you can see was made in 07.

well people actually fear that the movie will focus on the romance too much :) I personaly tried to show what is important to the HP story as whole, which is Voldi. Also i prefer this look cause i think it is more than time already to give HP movies a serious look..people die in this movie! :P

thx guys, and Dusto..considering its the end of november it really fits the 1+1/2 year schedule, though seeing as they made us wait for OOTP i see your point, but maybe HBP wont be as complicated to make SE and story wise.

We all fear the cuts, but quidditch is back, relationships are happening and they are keeping with the Draco line as well so Im not fearing too much. DD and Harry will come to conclusions faster i believe, but the end will just be just as good as the book (crosses fingers)

thx, i am working (slowly:P) on my series vids for HP. A series of music videos for each movie using rock songs, getting darker as they go. At least thats my aim, i did GOF first and i liked it so i decided to make all, which proved to be a much harder task:)

whats good is relative :) but its really hard to find music for this since im not concentrating on a theme(its mostly the action)and showing each movie in 3-4 minutes isnt really easy. here is the clip by clip:

-first harry is dreaming about last years happenings (wasnt really book material, but its nice since he does miss sirius)

-second i showed the rest of the trio and Ginny for obvious reasons.

-third DD and Harry thinking talking about stuff, like the past and memories (fills up most of the trailer)

-than i went on to show some of hogwarts life, snape's lesson, R/Hr fighting and of course quidditch.

-than a little more of DD/H talking and actually looking at Voldi's past.

-a bit of Draco and more R/Hr fight

-snake, again obvious

-and the pensieve turning green is basicly an effect i used since i think the color fits the theme of the 6th movie.

thx for the comment, although i would say that a normal trailer is about 3 minutes long, teaser trailers are about half of that.

About the words: previous HP trailers had similar ways of telling something as i believe, like OOTP had "rebellion begins" and such, i was going for that effect.

I LOVE the ending so much, its so subtle but creepy, and great job with the pensieve effects and whatnot. Just a hint for future reference: Try to put more of the plot into quotes, and less into words that pop up, it'll look more authentic, and make the slower clips a little faster, since most trailers are max 1 1/2 minutes long.
