  • I'm all for female pilots. Sucks being cramped up in a cockpit for hours with a bunch of dudes.

  • As an old friend of mine used to say "She could be dreaming of dudes or shopping and crash the MFing plane"

  • I CANT BELIEVE THEY LET HER FLY THAT PLANE? I MEAN, SHES GOT A VAGINA, GROSS !

  • Nice video... how about one where we see all 7? I sem to remember a lady captain named Shannon...

  • YOU LADY S WHO WANNA TRAIN TO BE PILOTS DONT LET THESE MALE SEXIST COMMENTS DISCOURAGE YOU WITH PROPER TRAINING U CAN GET PILOTS LICENSE

  • HOW ABOUT THE PLANE THAT LANDED IN THE PATOMIC RIVER CAUSED BY MALE PILOT ERROR HE FORGOT TO CHECK THE PLANES DEICING SYSTEM THE PLANE CRASHED KILLING MULTIPLE PASSENGERS

  • lesbian love :p

  • My advise to all who are out there throwing statistics, rants, raves, personal experiences, and all other damaging opinions...keep them to yourselves. I don't care if you have 25 years or 25 minutes of flying experience, I've flown with some very professional female AND male pilots. I've also flown with incompetent Male AND Female pilots. We all have our moments and our nonmoments. No one is perfect, deal with it. This is an equal opportunity career field, and that's just fine by me.

  • To bad 80% of female pilots are out of control, the findings of a 6000 hour 121 jet pilot. Never had a guy cry in the cockpit, can't say that about my female counter parts.

  • A quote from a recently retired Lakeland Florida Deputy Police Chief which is appropriate for Captain Hicks, "A woman's place is in command."

  • @MrMattmc i agree you are so right

  • strange looking kitchen..

  • i could have sworn i heard that name when i was coming home on a trip from miami to norfolk. that name rings a bell somewhere in my brain...

  • If Bonnie Hicks isn't the most country ass name I've ever heard...

  • My hat is off to this fine captain.

  • Women are easier to teach than men, while they often have less mechanical knowledge. Male students often hate to admit they don't know something. Women accept instruction easier. But airlines give quite a "bonus" for female applicants. I've seen airlines accepting women with half the total flight hours or half of the multi-engine time they require of men.

  • Women can be pilots. No doubt about that. But they can only fly inside the boundaries of the US. They're not allowed to fly over the Pacific or the Atlantic Ocean. FAA rule.

  • please if you have n emergency landing !!!!! please dont land on top of my house WOMAN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! have a nice day

  • I wonder if this women was hired only because of her sex like 90% of women airline pilots and 100% of united female pilots?

  • @tigersfanatic98

All right. Perhaps I had interpreted your comment incorrectly? It seemed derogatory at first, but after having read it a second time, it might not have been so. If yes, sorry.

  • @DieserBenuterIstCool im sorry for being such an asshole. i deleted the comment. because i also reread it and i cant belive how harsh i was. im so sorry. have a great day. :)

  • I taught aviation ops to young upcoming pilots. Half my students were young ladies. I gave them emergency scenarios on simulator and they would freak out. But over time I taught to keep a cool head at all times. I had two guys also freak out by the way. One young lady went to become a student pilot. On a solo flight she had a engine failure and dead sticked it at the nearest airport. She continued on to be a FO in CRJs for ASA. so enought with the stereotypes please.

  • why do you play the music louder than your talking?

  • Its not a big deal, for real. That airplane is such a pleasure and is quite forgiving. I wish my office was next to hers!

  • Who let this chick out of the galley ?

  • @yynnmmbb who let this bumbass (YOU) into this life...

  • @c0string , who "let" me into this life ? A man knocked up my mom, a man drove me to the hospital, a male doctor delivered me. Id say it was mostly men who let me into this life. I do thank God though that there was a woman at home cooking for me.

  • @yynnmmbb knocked up your mom? youre a sick fuck for degrading ur mother that way, how can u say that when she fucked the shit out of HIM lol. and second of all, question was rhitorical in responce to your stupid comment.

  • @c0string , haha. You are pretty funny. I think I like you after all and will sub to you. I actually do have an admiration for all pilots. cheers.

  • @yynnmmbb lol :-) thanks. Unfortunately it's not as glamorous as pople think...

  • American Eagle =Commuter planes/routes. Commuter Pilots, I pray for them, their working conditions are awful.

  • @indyfan22k yeah you said it, poor guys and girls who love flying so much and want so bad to make it their career they will put up with the worst scheduling and a salary that is less than what some people make on social assistance

  • @mossman8787 Are you being sarcastic or serious ?? I'm serious. I've seen a documentary on what they have to put up with. the Colgan Air crash near Buffalo was to blame on the regulation or lack of regulations by the FAA and Industry.

  • @indyfan22k 100% serious, I work in the industry. These people are hit with some major short comings especially with regional carriers in North America

  • One of the sexiest things I ever saw.

  • I.LOVE you Bonnie YOU ARE VERRY BEST :-)))))))

  • Now that is a futuristic looking kitchen. Is that from the next star wars movie?

  • stop it with the fly by noise...

  • The true test comes in an emergency. Women never fail to freak out & lose control.......Not trying to be a jerk, its just the findings of a flight instructor.

  • Comment removed

  • @MrJesuschristisking Really?? Did 16,000 hours of being a flight instructor educate you on this subject? Thats the creds of the flight instructor I mentioned.

Gee, who'd have thought?? Better tell the airlines & the military about this new found information!!

  • @falcondriver100 I agree.

  • @magellanmax Yeah right, I'm SURE they give women "inferior" training! They're RESPONSIBLE for them & every student reflects on the flight instructor dumbass.

You're only 35 years old & fly 777's AAAAAAND A330's?? WOW!! Thats amazing! LMAO! We talking "microsofts flight sim"?? Hahaha! Oh, and its called a "type rating", not 'certification' ace! Nice try!

  • @magellanmax maybe you should have taken your flight training somewhere else. Where I come from there is no difference.

  • @falcondriver100 I would agree overall. Have you seen the pics of the hawker midair out near Reno? Female cpt and a safe landing.

  • @falcondriver100 Conversely, I am personally aware of two female pilots with UAL that failed individual FAA check rides for their behavior when confronted with severe turbulence. Not trying to be a jerk... just two sides to this coin.

  • @alienhuman I fly for UA, and I've never heard of such a thing... hmm....

  • Respond to this video... My bad... I failed to read falcons comment correctly, so it seems I agreed with his summation.

  • @falcondriver100 Findings of UA Captain, every F/O that I've had that was a woman on my flights, flew better than a male will...

  • @falcondriver100 Captain Kim Campbell would beg to differ, as well as the many combat pilots who have taken fire from the ground in the Middle East. I have family serving in the Marines who might not be alive today if not for CAS from female Longbow and A-10 pilots.

  • @falcondriver100

Are you fucking retarded or some thing? Did you honestly compare in that post female student pilots with female airline captains? Man, what kind of CFI are you? I hate to be a dick, but I mean wtf....

  • @falcondriver100 which is one of the same reasons that women aren't allowed to actually "fight" in the military. Women pilots are better than men for being able to multitask but once a high-stress situation comes about, they don't know how to handle it.

  • @falcondriver100 On top of that, this captain doesn't sound too reassuring. Usually people in those posts are very confident and well spoken. She sounds like 12 year-old school girl in this video.

  • @falcondriver100 Obviously you have never heard of women like Amelia Earhart or the women pilots of WW1 & 2.....they were fearless..just like many of todays women pilots.

  • @roseipk No never heard of Earhart.......DUHRRR! I know she's never been found tough. LOL! Women of WW1 & 2 were not combat pilots. How fearless do you need to be to ferry an airplane?

Hey, take offense if you must. I'm just telling it like it is. Many women are GREAT pilots. Many handle the airplane well. I'm just here to tell you that when the shit hits the fan, they don't perform so well. Deal with it. I've been a CFI for 24 years........

  • @falcondriver100 WW2 did have women cobat pilots some of who are still alive today. Also today we have many women combat pilots serving in our armed forces flying dangerous missions. Women also fly with the Red Arrows display team.I can deal with it...obviously you can't...!!

  • @roseipk No, they DIDN'T have female combat pilots in WW2!!!! And I never said women can't fly well. I've taught many to fly. What I said is in an emergency, I've never seen one that handled it well. GET IT? How many female pilots have YOU flown with? None? Thats what I thought, but you know it all don't ya?

  • @falcondriver100 I probably know more than you by the sounds of it...US female pilots were known as WASPs ..RAF women pilots played a vital role of ferrying fighter aircraft and even being used as targets in practice and coming under attack in their work.

  • @falcondriver100, the Russians had female pilots who flew in combat in ww2. They were the first nation to use females in this role. Some of those females pilots even became aces. All well documented.

  • @falcondriver100 not necessarily female pilots are more patient then men are they in fact do not freak like men do FACT

  • @ingodshandsable And is this your experience from 27 years of flight instruction? I can site several fatal accidents from women pilots losing composure during an emergency. Can you cite any where male pilots did the same?

  • @falcondriver100 - Tell that to the female military pilots serving our country abroad. You'd get your balls busted.

  • @legalglitz It cracks me up all the hate comments I get from women on this thread. I wasn't putting anyone down, just expressing my EXPERIENCE, not even just an opinion but EXPERIENCE! Grow some thicker skin will ya?

  • @falcondriver100 - You need to understand that when you post a sexist comment that you're going to get a reaction.

  • @legalglitz Nothing sexist about my comment. I'll say if a THIRD time, its my EXPERIENCE! If I were sexist, I would refuse to train female student pilots, wouldn't I? Look in the mirror, you're as thin skinned & insecure as it gets!

  • @legalglitz How about the time when the ATC lady "forgot" where she put an aircraft, and then she landed a 737 on top of it...that was epic. LAX i think.

  • @legalglitz lol "abroad" can come bust deez

  • sooo beautiful:) im about to finish my commercial rating

  • Oh dear American, completely over the top!

  • better dont crush or they will revoke all the womans flying licenses

  • flying a Embraer 145

  • Captain Bonnie Hicks is fantastic :) Thanks for posting such a great video!
