I dont think you can truly isolate talent from audience. In performing arts, both are contingent on each other.

I don't think Susan is average in the real world. She is good enough to be considered in the group of professionals in the real world.

People say she's the best not simply because her singing beats everybody in the world, but because of what she represents.

I am not sure why people try to compare these two talented singers....I adore Elaine Paige and had the opportunity to hear/see her in Cats in London. But Elaine has years singing this song on stage, in concerts and years of training. Susan is new to being on stage. If she continues, compare them in ten years. Both have wonderful talent, yet I think Susan, at this time, has more passion. Best of luck to both of these great talents.
