@dscjnky IMO, hand-holding in Sepak Takraw has a few meaning. In malay culture, it means friendship or brotherhood, it's also a celebration after scoring point and it's also to lift teammates' spirit or to motivate each other.

Takraw is like a combination of both Volleyball and Soccer. I've seen a ball that's been used in Takraw games before up close. I have an old friend of mind, his friend lives in Thailand. Probably in the national's capital of Bangkok.
