here's some new interesting swedish bands that really stick out from the crowd (not that the crowd is bad, it's just that you've probably already heard most of them:

Amaranthe death metal and pop combined

Ghost well it's a ghost from the past!

Zero illusions don't know what to say except awesome (can't be seen on youtube thou, only on myspace)

@shadowyashatoura Also there's the bjorn and their single locomotive is available on youtube, and they call themselves "thrash 'n' roll"

And then there's black magic fools, the oddest of them all, combining elements from the The Renaissance with heavy metal (somewhat similar to viking metal). their song "pestvisan" (available on myspace) actually got swedish vocals. There're not the heaviest band, but still awesome and unique!

@slayyer000 Yes and Greece is proud of them. I love this band. They need a more natural sound on the drums though. We'll see on their next album coming this fall. I've only seen them once (supporting Bolt Thrower about a month ago) and they were amazing. Going to see them with Released Anger 24th of September! HELL YEAH!
