@MegaTt1234567 yeah I felt like that when i was playing, thanks - I wish I got yesterdays play on tape, havent felt like I was in the zone so much for the last year.
Allow me to analize the match with my humble knowledge!
Your back hand strike was better than his BH+FH together. You got many points with BH strikes, but the thing was you were not very confident and you REALLY didnt wanna risk it. He was obviously below your level, you could take'm the 3 sets.
About his strikes, you were giving him really high balls with your BH loops.
The match was kinda slow, but important that you won... Bravo!
Oh almost forgot, table tennis match 2011 FOR LIVEEEEEEE :))
@johnbozi i feel like your in the lead, when it comes to quality videos and actually putting in time making it look like you care, instead of just taking a vid and posting it un edited (like most tt vids)
@shittersai tough call, its a matter of how it digs into the rubbber, I find 25 too solid and heavy but the fx great. Plays similar, in that it plays drives the best. 64 I find the deeper it goes in the faster it kicks out, as in if you dont go all the way in you can do shorter loops but go all the way in it loops out real fast. with 25 fx it seems a bit more constant in that the density is closer to the surface.
@shittersai I forgot since then I have been using 25fx on forehand and 05 backhand since my backhand has always been more dangerous and better at all things. the 25 fx on forehand gives me more speed lower throw and simple slap ability
Table tennis in 2011 is not my best year but I have learnt how it feels to play games in tournaments when I have not played for a long time. I don't care about rankings in the world just love playing in a different part of the world.
Thumbs up! It looks like you are getting your game back. At one time it looked like I could give you a challenge but now I doubt it. I liked the blocks. I block like that too as I am too slow to get back. It does look like you blocked more than usual but if it works then do it. You also played much closer to the table then what you have in the past.
@pnachtwey thanks Pnach, I thought I got my game back a few days after this tournament as I continued to play, and then just suddenly snap, feels like whatever I regained of my forehand just vanished into blocking again. I think I am just either backhand player or a forehand player, in each grip of the blade. In the middle I am only ever a blocker.
@MegaMushroom22 I think everyone plays differently and from different distances from the table. I think the Butterfly ratings for tenergy 25 fx are more correct than 05 fx. As 05s are made for a metre off the table but 05 fx feels to slow and loops better near the table. 25 fx drives much better and loops better at the table with more speed in that the angles seem better adjusted. 25s were made for at the table.
Yeah John if that was you using your new rubber I could tell that your shots weren't 100 percent. You tended to block a lot more than you usually do. Personally I don't like Tenergy on the forehand. Too high of a throw and very little short game. I prefer the Chinese rubbers, although I may try Tin Arc which is DHS's attempt at a spring sponge hybrid rubber with the japanese style sponge and a semi chinese style topsheet.
@LookB3hindU that rubber sounds good that you mention, I am very happy with the tenergy 25 fx on my backhand - played with it more since the tournament and it really is a great backhand rubber. It feels very unique in all the things i have used. I went from using skyline 2 neo to tenergy 05 and even though 05 is my rubber of choice - not using it for 6 months really made me over shoot long and high
@johnbozi I only use Skyline 2 neo as a penhold rubber. I've been practicing CPH so that I can coach it better. I personally love H3 Neo on my forehand for Shakehand. I haven't yet tried Skyline 3 either. I think that H3 plays just as well as T05, but without the high throw and with just as much spin. You get a little less speed on it, but I play with a Chinese style forehand which more than makes up for the speed. Although I switch to my T05 on my backhand when I'm smashing like Ma Long
#FTW I do a lot of of backhand openers very similar to yours. It's very effective. Yeah your forehand started a little off but you managed some good shots anyway. Good job.
bozi u play better during practice ^^
