New Alpine Audio Equipment 12" Type R Sub and New MRX-M50

I got 2 12" of those type R's and am trying to get this amp for them the one I got now put out 150w rms can't imagine how it'll sound with that m50

@blinddiaj Yeah it will bang but try to invest in the M100...makes a big difference but I don't know what ohm rating subs you got. Two 4DVC's won't work but if you got two 2DVC it will work for sure!

Would it be possible to run it off a 15" (1500watt woofer)

@ByrneBeatsInc You can power a 18" sub...Any amp can push any sub but its all about if the amp is strong enough to power it. You always want to know the rms handling of your sub before getting your amp. If you have a sub that can handle 1000 watt rms, get a amp that can power 1000+ watt rms at that certain impedance. Its a matching game.

@danterakin no his comment isnt a fail stock decks can cause clipping wayy easier than an aftermarket deck and clipping can make that sub go up in smoke along with your amp

@MrBeatahalic This install is for a person that is not into blasting his shit, he just wanted to enhance his sound a little. Um duh stock decks clips a lot more then aftermarket but you don't get the fact that the owner of the car didn't want a thief to know he had a system so thats why deck is still stock. Again, owner of car doesn't blast his deck to the point it clips the amp and sub.

@MrVg10 You can power 10 subs to this amp, it just matters on how you wire them. This amp does 500wrms at 2 ohms so if both your subs are 250rms and you can wire down to 2 ohms then this is a perfect amp.

@tribalb I bought the wires off a guy on ebay that was local to me. All I needed was the power wires and just speaker wire to the sub and that was it. No need RCA or remote.

Since one Alpine MRX-M50 Amplifier can power one Alpine SWR-1243D Subwoofer, I assume that one Alpine MRX-M100 Amplifier can power 2x Alpine SWR-1243D!

Please confirm or deny this for me since I am looking to purchase some subs!

@AnthonyMostacci12 Can't really hear outside of the car because it is a sealed enclosure and the way its set is for quality rather than sound pressure. If you want to be heard a nice 1.5-2 cubic foot box will be nice.

@kreeper6 The amp is a monoblock and sub is wired down to 2 ohms. I am not really sure what your asking.

@0hm4g3 Yeah, usually with most alpine subs, the 2nd to last number in the model number represent the gen it is.

I just installed a swr-t12 and the PDX-M6 and was debating on getting the RUX-KNOB. Is it worth getting. I am kinda tired of having to adjust the EQ on my head unit for songs with different bass levels.

Do you recommend the knob?
