  • it is violent for me...

  • great video and it likes like a very fun trip

  • what 's the name of the first song??

  • well done lads!! massive vid yea!!

  • this is awesome!! how much did u got for the spear ? i got a cheat spear and is shit, it can't even penetrate a fish haha

  • We usually use Rob Allen spears. good quality.

  • how much is that ? well, i am kido, i am povery and my budget is around AUD80-130, haven got any time to city shoping yet

  • this is soooo awesome!

how long did it take u guys to learn how to hold your breaths so long?

  • We spend a lot of time in the water and in recent years we have started training in swimming pools at night. We formed a club Sydney Freedivers, you can google and see what we do to increase breath hold and maintain good safety.

  • that is some great spearfishing.great doggies n jobbies. we have had sharks(bronze whalers) get too frisky on christmas island, we carry a seperate gun in the boat for these with no keeper on the spear. only if they are being a threat.

  • Out on the off shore reefs we see quite a few big silky whalers and sliver tip whalers and a few tigers and great hammerheads. Occasionally they become problematic but closer to the coast we run into the bronzies and the bull sharks and they can be quite a pest.

  • nice doggies mate. nice uku (green jobfish)

  • Some nice big job fish there! Are you guys based in Cairns like me? Would love to go out fishing on that boat!!

  • No mate, we are Sydney boys. The reefs we went to are off shore from Gladstone, with the furtherest out about 570km. There are a few boats that take spearing trips out there. We do our trips through Extreme Spearfishing in Sydney.

  • Excellent video ! What camera do you use?

  • Thanks. I have been using a Sony Cybreshot. It is a stills camera that has a good video function. It is a small camera so I can hold my gun in one hand and the camera in the other.

  • haha sneaky reef sharks

  • We need some more Judge! LOL

  • Ha ha...glad you enjoy them. I got water in my camera a couple of weeks ago so I am working through that.

  • That is what has happened to me also:{ Swearing through it was my first step LOL!

  • Very nice what type of guns do you guys use, im a young sport diver looking to get a better gun the one i have is good for large reef grouper and snapper made by JBL im looking for an offshore free diving gun for dorado any ideas would be nice thank you

  • I use Rob Allen guns. My favourite gun is a 1.3 Carbon Signature. I have a 1.5 Carbon gun for dorados and the like. However I have one gun that isn't a Rob Allen and it is great. Its a Aimrite Super Venom. Toughest carbon gun I have seen. I will be rigging it up for dogtooth tuna on my next Coral Sea trip.

  • you dont know how big of a smile this put on my face! sweet vides dude, and nice dogies!

  • Thanks, Glad you enjoyed them. Your comment put a smile on my face.

  • no homo that looks like a fuckin sick ass trip and u guys are actually are good at it

  • Nice, looks like a successful trip.

  • were u get spear

  • sick sick sick getting me geed

  • great!

  • lol a 50 seconds ur like oh shit oh shit!! he gonna eat me!

  • very nice

  • Definitely setting the benchmark for free diving. Frederic Reef seems to have been a good haul. Keep up the vids boys! Much prefer to SCUBA myself but just with a snorkel and mask is cool if you can hold your breath.

  • Would your speargun be powerful enough to seriously hurt those big sharks? Did you ever try it? Or do you just kind of poke them when they come to close? Just asking 'cause I'm new to the sport but enjoyed the vid a lot. Thanx for sharing!

  • The spearguns are capable of severly wounding and killing the large sharks but they are so strong you can kiss a lot of gear goodbye. They will tangle gear, bend spears and cause so much confusion if the shot is not perfect that we tend to just fend them off, and if they get too aggressive we get out of the water and go somewhere else.

  • Thx for taking time to answer. Sounds like a challange to me... ;-) Good luck on your future dives and keep the vids coming!

  • Again a great catch'n'kill scene, I love it,really a thrilling appetizer, yummy ;-))

  • Awsome video man. how the hell do u hold ur breathe for so long????

  • Training is the answer. I am a member of a freediving club as well as a spearfishing club.

  • so...do u guys have a harpoon too?

  • If you mean the hand spears fired out of the hand with rubber, we have used them but we go for the distance and accuracy capable with a speargun.

  • dam i wanna to spearfishing toooo, tho fishing is fine for me too, harpoon like those weapons for whaling, but i wonder if theres hand held ones for them as well for sharks xD

  • Very good job guys, some excellent freedivings skills you guys have.

  • sick ass music as well as a sick ass dive!!!

    who is that shredding, anyway?

  • Thanks. The guitarist is Joe Satriani...he's great.

  • Keep them cumin Wayne, LOVE IT!
