  • I wish I had the courage that those troops have. I hope I can be like them one day. Thanks to all our troops and veterans

  • Im not a young pup like some guys responding to this Video, i try to do my part by hauling military equipment throughout Canada but any serviceman that see this responce to this video, weather new or a veteren to the the Canadian Forces, I thank you for your efforts, your sacrifices you endure, no words can replace our freedom as Canadians

  • @mrwallet we do more then just sit around KAF and I can definitely tell you that reservists do go outside the wire, In my eyes we're all equal when it comes down to serving overseas and our country whether or not your regs or P-res.

  • @crappyaim the right of censorship? Hmmmm, nope, don't remember that one.

  • Thanks for the video

  • Ironic that as men die to protect our freedmon, you choose to censor our comments?

    FUCKING HYPOCRITE!!

  • @xxxjd1532xxx That is part of the freedom, that is the choice of the person who uploaded the video. MORON!!

  • i feel bad for the 1 person who missed the like button and hit the dislike button accidently

  • 0:30 that is so cool!!

  • not usually fan of avril lavigne but this to touching to ignore putting on my twitter

  • I WILL remember you, all of you, and the sacrifices you and your families have made

  • im sgt henighan. and to tell you guys when i went over seas t=it was fun/scary .. you have some the best guys .. brothers .. friends you will ever meet... and when you lose one, its fucking sad ... R.I.P Mcpl Florence

  • My family and I thank all the men and weman out there that have passed. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts. May you all rest in peace, I will be joining the Canadian Forces as soon as the new year hits.

  • good song i dont like her but my god it works with the vid and goodjob

  • I used to not know much about our troops. But now that I do, I know what I truely want to do with my life. I want to be a infantry solider. I hope that I can make that dream come true and be brave like our troops. Stay strong.

  • not many people realize what our troops go through over seas

  • im currently in the application process for the CF Regular Force Infantry. These tributes mean alot, makes me proud to be a Canadian and to know that there are people behind us.

  • @pxdfover really so am i with the application process its a bitch but im damm proud .

  • this is the kinda stuff that makes me want to join the army. i turn 17 in just over a year and i can't wait to (hopefully) enlist. aside from that though, i like the song choice for background music. it fits the subject very well. i have a "support our troops" ribbon with a magnet on the back on the inside of my locker door at my high school thats in CF camo patterns and has a mini canadian flag at the top.

I ALWAYS HAVE AND ALWAYS WILL SUPPORT THE CANADIAN TROOPS!

  • @chargersfan141 I wish you good luck :) I am a proud Canadian and supporter of our troops. If you do join, know that there are many people who are grateful in and out of Canada!

  • @chargersfan141 good luck on your future endevour, it took me 8 months to get into the CF and now I've been in for 8 months and currently doing all my courses. Keep in mind that sometimes the CF isn't everyones cup of tea, it gets hard, frustrating, and physically challenging but in the end when you look back on everything you've done, all you can really say is Wow and smile.

  • @TashaRules I plan on goinging the Reserves next year when I'm 16, as I know for fact that that's the minimum age limit. any advice you could give me about BMQ and that shit?

  • @chargersfan141

Tough getting in right now, recruiting was cut down large.

  • 0 dislikes. this is what I like to see.

  • Beautiful video....bless them all that have passed and those still living with the nightmares...their families left behind as well.

  • 2:56 how can you die in the reserve? I'm being serous incase you think i'm trolling

  • @beebop161 Reserves can volunteer to be deployed.

  • @beebop161 Reserves make up a large portion of fighting and support troops in Afghanistan.

  • @TashaRules not even 15% and they dont fight they sit in KAF and buy shit from the americans

  • @beebop161 with all do respect mate, many reservist are doing full time deployments, do some reaserch at what they do and how the CF operates

  • @Northernsharpshooter Am I not aloud to ask questions? Research is not necessary for a simple question.

  • @beebop161 and being in the Reserves is also a part-time job in the Canadian Forces compared to the Regular Force which is full-time.

  • @beebop161 easy the training can kill u

  • @beebop161 Technically you cant really die in the reserves, what happens is that you are deployed with a full time unit (not your reserve unit). Believe me, there are several rarin and ravin 16 year old reservists who cant wait to turn 18 and go as training staff to Afghanistan (before they figured out that its only corporals and above going in)

  • Please every one...Join your Local Legion Arms..or Army Navy Air-force veterans club! Thanks for the upload! It almost made me cry.

  • As of last suday 155 Canadian soliders have lost there lives.

  • God bless them all YOU are heroes

  • In air cadets at the moment and plan on joining the reserves as soon as i turn 18 in April get all my training there up to snuff so that if harper decides to keep us over there for another three years like he has been saying recently i can volunteer to go and lend a hand. Respect to the men and women who lost their lives to keep us safe. And thank you to the men and women who are still there to make our lives that much easier.

  • To those who posted their comments here...I wish you all the best as you enter Military Service...

  • That thing made me cry at the end...

  • Thank you soldiers, I fly my flag high because of you.

  • RIP all fallen soilders and i have nothing but respect for you guys. hope to join you one day. PS: if you play "highway of heros" by the trew during this vid the ending is very touching

can anyone tell me what i can do

BTW i want to do somethin that makes me shipped overseas thnx

  • I admire your courage. Unfortunatly because of your condition you can't join the Forces. You are still young maybe when you reach the age to join, they will have found a way to cure you. Meanwhile get a good education and be good to others. I am sure you will find a way to serve your country.

    From a Canadian Sailor

  • I am joing the Canadian Cadets next year and I plan to move on from that to join the Infantry.

    Thank you

  • Cadets is great im glad i joined it it's the best thing that i ever did. Which element you joining Army, Air, or Sea?

  • Army, I hope my brother was in air a few years back

  • @TashaRules he said infantry.... thats army

  • @SharpSho0ter99 I meant for the Cadets not the Canadian Forces.

  • @TashaRules Cadet's actually helps your pay scale in a small percentage once you're in. I'm not RCR and was in the RCAC when I was younger and I get a small bonus. But every penny helps right.

  • @lexclayton Yeah I heard about the pay scale thing but I'm not sure if it applied to the reserves or not, or if I were to transfer out of the reserves in the future to the reg force I would beable to keep the incentive credits.

  • @lexclayton it doesn't help your pay scale it just give you you a 6 months service credit. so instead of waiting a year for your first pay increase you wait 6 months. ( that's only if you serve 3 years in the cadets )

    1CER

  • @TashaRules Sorry, now* RCR, mistype :)

  • Im joining as well. Im joining the 1838 Army Cadets and i plan to join some part of the Army.

  • Cadets is a good thing. I'm a Sea Cadet but remember Cadets is just a youth group and it's not training "little soldiers" like people seem to stereotype us with. It's still a very good thing to get into because you'll have a drill background and stuff like that.

  • @spartan1111117 Cadets is...if there's a word beyond epic and awesome that would probably be it but yeah, that's how much fun cadets is. I'm in my 5th year there and...well I just wish training nights were longer than 3 hours :P

    F/Sgt D.S.

  • Tasha Once Again truly Outstanding Video Gob bless CANADA! Please make more try to make one about Winnipeg :D Well thanks Again <3 :D

  • Well done Tasha. :)

  • If you don't stand behind our troops, stand IN FRONT of them.

  • awesome tribute!

  • Three more brothers lost last night... three more reasons to join...

    Kyrie, Eleison...

  • Great work Tasha

  • Great vid and if "Endfascism" shows up dishonouring the vid and troops I say report him.
