Great vid as always! starting with the puck at the heel really helped. I was doing this more towards the middle of the blade and pushing it too hard before i flipped the toe around. now it's easier to get most of the puck with the toe.
lol i did the one where you put it behind the blade. its way harder to land then a simple toe drag. i was amazed even i could do that was a pretty sick moment put the puck in the defencemens feet avoid the hit and your clear.
I thinks its cool what your doing and this helps pepple out but could you show so more advanced moves lik using ur skates and things lik tht? Thank you
theres a lot more friction on the street and whenever i try this i can never pull it off because my stick is suspended on the floor while im trying to drag back. Is there another technique for road hockey ?
Hey guy i was just wondering if u made a video already about how to do a spin-o-rama cuz i really wanna know how 2 but if u ddnt already then could u make 1?? thanks
I have always had a pretty deece toey, but could never do it as fluently as other guys. Now I see that i was rotating both wrists instead of just my top hand. And wow, it seems like just knowing that simple little difference has made me able to do it pretty awesome, thanks for this!
@IcedFever As long as you put your mind to it and practice a lot! I bet in a few weeks you could learn to toe drag with the other end of the stick ;)
I tried it with a square toe when I was in the store, it wasn't too much different. Just practice a lot and you will get it. Everybody starts as a beginner
@salata1500 I just went out and tested the skillpad and the tiles, I did about 10 slide tests. I put a puck on each (side by side) and then used a 2x4 to push them both with the same amount of power. The pucks slid basically the same distance every time
can you make a video when youre coming down on the wing and theres D and you pull it between your legs and kick it back to youre stick. Ovechkin does it a lot
@midgetbeast31 Yeah that is a fun move! I try to do it once a game so I don't get rusty. We are going to make a series called 20 ways to beat the D and will include that move (stay tuned)
@midgetbeast31 I'll try 2 help u. Basic(im a right handed shot so i'll explain it like that) If im coming up the left wing, cross the blue line and cut across the middle like Ovi, what u want to do is bend ur right knee out and pull the puck to ur right side (comin in on a right angle) from there u pretty much just pull the puck thru ur legs with a toe drag, from there it should hit the inside of ur left skate. Kick it up 2 ur stick once it hits it. I think itd be easier to show u in a video lol
@FlyGuysHockey20 Hells yeah! Just waiting for the arena to get the ice in and a couple of skates. We shot some dekes last year JUST before the ice came out, but I did it with the camera mounted on my helmet and watching the videos made me and my friend sea sick. We are going to re-shoot from the defense perspective (or get a camera man :D)
@ry4nx Trust me I want ice too! They just put the ice in the arena about 45 minutes away, our ice should be in soon too. The hard part is getting cheap / free ice time. (It costs around $90 to rent it for an hour)
Thanks for the good tips mate from Australia with love.

@JoBrosCanGoBlow Once we can find some cheap ice, paying $120 an hour will make us broke :D
