You can barely hear the lead in the trombones, the trumpets are overpowering and the saxes are fucking stupid...You should quit playing while you still can
@Syck0s0cial133 i wouldnt go that far, but you are right. this arrangement was horrible. i am a second trumpet in my high school jazz band and to me, that solo sounded god awful. im surprised those people clapped for them. i had to stop listening my ears hurt so bad, they never should have played this
whats the matter trumpet player didnt like the solo as written, or could you not play it??? We are playing this in our jazz band and that is deffinatly not how it was written
9 8 time is so much fun! i played this in our jazz band this year on trombone this on bass for an in school concert

Shows a lot of respect for the music. And good solo. How's working with the teacher/director? Sounds like he can get a good swing going.
