what my problem is when i draw somthing, and i press next scene or clip or whatev i want my pic to stay so i can just change the mouth so it looks like its talking do i have to redraw the guy everytime or is there a way i can repeat the pic and jsut animate mouth? if so how??

Oh, and it says on the download thing that for Windows you can't export it as a movie. Only flash and frames. Can you still upload your animations to Youtube and such?

Instead of adding frames before you start, what you can do is draw your first frame, then simply press 'Enter' on your keyboard and then it will automatically make a new frame, and it will go onto that frame as well to save you from constantly clicking on the frame you want.

@TacticalT0MAT0 backgrounds are there so you dont have to redraw them every time. most backgrounds for a scene are one image that doesnt change.

Most helpful video I have seen so far made by a Window's user! All the other tutorial videos for Pencil are usually by Mac user's, and it appears that Pencil is a tad bit better on a Mac.

@imagfilmsstudios i've read the user manual, it says you cant export yet in pencil for windows. if youre using the pencil for mac, you can export your animations into mov. format.

What if your drawing is more complicated? Do you have to draw it every time? It wouldn't be as big a deal if I had a digital drawing pad or something, but drawing in computer sucks.

@biatches1990 as far as exporting goes you have 2 options

1 is to save it as a png sequence and use monkey jam to reassemble them

2 save it as an flv and then use a program called MPEG stream clip to render it to avi/mpeg/wmv <--- any of those willl work
