i bet they have a car engine transmission driving that rotor, it seems like its clutch engaged, extremely dangerous, also it appears the rotor is unable to tilt, and the rotor itself appears to have no way of changing the pitch of the blades to increase the thrust produced by the blades, it looks like they are just angled to a set pitch...which means they would have to relie on the engine speed itself to generate/reduce thrust...
I don't have much knowledge of aircraft,but on an instinctive level,it looks to me like the rotors aren't long enough,plus the tail should be lengthened or lowered. The engine doesn't sound too good either.Too heavy,old and unreliable.Scrap it,get another,

I hope no one was injured or killed during any of these test runs. They should definitely try and do the math on the lift required for the helicopter to become airborne, and stay clear of those blades. Yikes.
it sounds like they have a car engine in it i wonder if they have to put it in gear first before it flies and look how little clearance there is from the rotor blades and the tail anyone who knows anything about helicopters will tell you that blades flex and if they happen to flex down they will chop off the tail rotor. this was a critical flaw in the design of the hind and that is why all the newer helicopters have tails at the bottom or center of the fuselage

The thing is clearly so poorly built that if they gunned that excuse for an engine, the whole thing would explode into a million itty bitty pieces of FAIL.. likely killing everyone there.

I hope no one was injured or killed during any of these test runs. They should definitely try and do the math on the lift required for the helicopter to become airborne, and stay clear of those blades. Yikes.

it sounds like they have a car engine in it i wonder if they have to put it in gear first before it flies and look how little clearance there is from the rotor blades and the tail anyone who knows anything about helicopters will tell you that blades flex and if they happen to flex down they will chop off the tail rotor. this was a critical flaw in the design of the hind and that is why all the newer helicopters have tails at the bottom or center of the fuselage

There's so much fail here, it's hard to know where to begin. StarsandStraps4E is right- it does sound like shoes in a dryer. The thing is clearly so poorly built that if they gunned that excuse for an engine, the whole thing would explode into a million itty bitty pieces of FAIL.. likely killing everyone there.
