I made it to San Antonio in 5 hours without the pleasure of GPS, or even a road map... Gotta love the back roads! The only gas left was premium, and it was heavily guarded by Houston PD.
WOW! Thanks! We heeded the much maligned evacuation. Good thing we did too. Hard to believe something so beautiful can be so devastating. My oak trees and house got up close and personal with this monster in quite another way. Glad we missed that the aftermath was bad enough. After Humberto and Ike we are just punch drunk, thunder struck,stunned...Glad its the end of November! LOL
