@layla251 and im sorry for arguing back and forth also. It didnt happen to me, it happened to my wife a while back after a concert during a autograph session. My wife came back upset so I was none too happy, but what can I really do about it except vent myself on youtube. I wouldnt care if they did that to me, but my wife, comon. Its like having a kid coming home with a blackeye courtesy of a bully. They are good musicians i will give them that.

I loved Black Hawk and the great Van Stephenson added just the right flavor to their sound. His songwriting was also amazing. I still get excited when I run across one of their origional songs. I was so shocked when I heard that Van actually died from his Cancer...RIP! While I still like BH, It will never be the same.

His name was Van Stephenson - he died of melanoma in 2001.  They were't the same band after he left in 2000. A brilliant songwriter -- penned several Restless Heart #1's with Dave Robbins.

Blackhawk were fans of Poco and structured their sound to like Poco, but with a "New Country" flair. Henry Paul has an amazing voice. Listen to him in his 20s with the Outlaws. Great Stuff! The first time I heard BlackHawk, I thought it was Poco with Paul Cotton singing. Listen to Poco's "Heart of the Night" and you'll see the similarities.

Henry Paul has one of the best voices I have ever heard. I believe that's what makes their group one of the best country groups around. I met both of them at our county fair and those boys are tall drinks of water lol
