Khanate proves that heaviness is about attitude and mood... forget all that cookie monster shit and the 180bpm drumming... who cares... Katey Perry is heavier than all them fake death metal bands. Real metal is heavy. Real metal is heavy. Bon Jovi is not metal. Kermit the frog is more metal than Nickelback. I am made of aluminum and I know this damnit..don't get me started. I understand sludge and doom. Haven't completely gotten a grasp of drone though. Digging Angelic Process, later Earth Albums, other stuff here and there, but when it comes to this truly "drone doom" sound I just can't comprehend it. Is this just 2deep4me? Acquired taste? I liked Sunn O)))'s Monoliths and Dimensions and few parts in Black One, but the true drone doom songs don't grab me. When I hear those doom riffs I am really into it though.

@Stealthmachin3 It's more the atmosphere than anything that I like about drone doom. It's a very acquired taste and most people will probably think it's shit, but I like it.
