I'm not sure what happened to music. We used to go buy an album, listen to side one, then side 2 and let the music take us away. We sometimes did not care for a song or two, but we judged the album as a collective piece of work.

Today you're lucky to find 2 good songs on one CD. Its sad really. And I would include The Who, Santana, Doors, Moody Blues, Fleetwood Mac, Cream, ZZ Top, Allman Brothers, Traffic, Journey, Jethro Tull, Steve Miller, The Doobie Brothers, Grand Funk, Black Sabbath...
