  • can someone tell me what amp the rec setting is modeling

  • what kind of guitar is that??

  • @ToolFIXXXER looks like a schecter

  • What is a good Asking Alexandria setting or black veil brides . I can't quite find it

  • how do you use the presets without the footswitch

  • Own Em' Alley is his name, for those who ask.

  • nice fuzz !!!! it should sound like it or is it the amp?

  • My main problem with the Peavey is that the Blue Marvel speaker is rather lackluster. I record line in with it for this main reason.

  • How to save presets?

  • hey i have a vypyr 15w and i would really like to know how can i save a preset that i made so when i turn on the amp it opens immediatly with the preset that i choosed. i really apreciate help thanks!!!

  • @nunofrg to save your set just click and hold one of the four preset buttons, until the red light switches off and on again, then you can take your finger off the button

and i recommend you to read your instruction manual on the CD that came with your amp - or just go to the peavey website, you can find it there as well ;)

  • @soopawhoops thanks!

  • @nunofrg no problem, have fun with your vypyr ;)

  • thank you @8Beowulf8.i like this amp but i may get confused

  • This amp is so sexily sexy :awe:

  • Thanks for this review dude! I just got this amp today and it's freaking amazing. I play a lot of metal, makes some Metallica sound great X)

  • can this work with any foot switches besides the sanpera 2 pedal

  • That sounds noyce

  • I'm so glad I stumbled across this amp here. I'm just blown away by all the effects and features. There's no need for effects pedals and the distortions are amazing! I'm trading in my Line 6 next paycheck for this badboy! I'm sold!

  • I prefer the Vypyr ! ( I bought it ;) ) and

I think the Peavey is a better Amp

  • would you recommend a peavy vypr or a Line 6 modeling amp?

  • @8Beowulf8

Peavey all the way. The Line 6 doesn't get the rich sound you need in music. It has almost a sterile feeling, if you can understand that. Having played both, and owning the Vypyr, I can tell you it definitely has the upper hand.

  • On the high-gain amps it's more of a Dirty to Distorted boost rather than a Clean to Dirty...just sayin'

  • how does it work with a CGCFAD tuneing?

  • Nah but guys really get this amp it's amazing and you want be disappointed, i know i wasn't!

  • Is this an older model? I belive i have a newer one,

  • Im in tears i think im in love!!!

  • Auto wahs kick ass when you already have a wah plunged up lol

  • Got the Marshall Mg 15...it sounds like duck shit to me now...because of this review... I WILL NOT STOP! till i have this amp!

  • @yugijan2196 I can recommend the Vypyr with 100 Watts and 2x12 " Speakers, that thing is very very good to play Rock or deep tuned Metal!

  • this dude cant play any metal riffs lol. thats ok, this amp is still badass

  • @jaydog664 no you can turn it off. when you press the stompbox or effects button down you can adjust them.

  • OMG! no looper without a samperapedal!?!?! THATS WHY I WANTED IT!! AND THE FREAKING PEDAL COSTS AS MUCH AS THIS AMP DOES! >:( Awwww!!!

  • Im getting this amp :D

  • anyone used this bad boy live?

I'm wanting an amp that can be used in the bedroom at reasonable levels for practicing and recording/tracking guitar parts into Pro Tools, but also one that could be used for gigs in smaller venues (mic'd up of course)

My friend said he would sell me his 30 watt Vypyr and the Sanpera II for a ridiculously low price (there about 2 months old) and my marshall AVT150 head just ain't suitable for bedroom use :( (its also 4 sale)

    Awesome demo as always GearWire

  • @jamesallan87 I used it on 2 gigs for now, but the 100 Watt version. in the first one it was Mic'd up, it sounded awesome and did the job perfectly. In the second gig it sounded a bit worse, it wasn't mic'd so I couldn't hear it and the other guitarist was using an ENGL savage, so any solid state amp could sound like shit compared with that beast.

Also, at bedroom volumes it rocks, you can have it at very low volumes and it will still sound great

  • @jamesallan87 i dont know if i would trade the marshal for that but the amps great and is perfect for any setting that dosent require tubes. theres also tube versions starting at 75 watts and up but honestly for a digital amp this shit sounds amazing and puts the line6 name to shame

  • @jamesallan87 I'm actually going through a bit of your "crisis" right now. From my experience if you want a "practice" amp that also perfectly viable live, your only two realistic choices are the Vypyr series or the Vox VT series, but personally, I like the Vypyrs way better. It's not that the Voxs sound *bad* to me, they just sound...weird. Tough to explain.

  • man! thats an unstable amp holder!

  • lol I thought my amp was broke when I tried the reverse effect

  • You would need to use a quarter inch or an eighth inch. A converter would likely sound like crap.

  • how can u record using the vyvpyr 30 in to ur computer?

  • @Tito13theGuitarist im not very technical and stuff but ive done it before. you need one of those cords that have 2 input jacks, plug one end to ur computer and the other end into your amp with an adapter, the adapter needs should have an input jack the size of your standard instrument cable.

  • @zqmbfg do u think u can show me the adapter cuz i'm looking for one but i cant find one plzz help and explain to me how to do it????

  • What kind of mic is that?

  • You got great videos dude!

But I never catched your name...

  • You skipped the Recto :O

  • peavey vypyr is much better then marshall mg series it's got a whole lot of effects amps and the price is surprisingly low

  • @sangalvinod

Yeah def, MG series sounds like duck shit.

  • How do I record out of my vypyr 15w?

  • @JobForMyValentine Yeah Me too drifting more towards the new Marshall amp.The sound is just amazing.

  • @khushalbhadra What kind of job? hehe

  • @JobForMyValentine which one the new Marshall MG15FX?

  • @JobForMyValentine Yeah but have you check the sound of new Marshall MGFX 15. Of what I hear in the reviews and sound i hear on youtube. Somehow the sound of Marshall stands out. What do you have to say about the New Marshall MG15FX

  • Which is better Spider IV 15 or the Peavey Vypyr 15 Need Help guys?

  • @khushalbhadra Peavey all the way man line 6 is way to digital i just orderd my self a Vypyr 30 I did alot a research before i bought it. I cant wait to get it!

  • I LOVE THE REVERSE EFFECT!!!

  • I have the Line 6 Spider IV 150w and I'm thinking about taking it back and getting the Peavey Vypyr 100w.. What do you guys think? I have the vypyr 15w and it sounds more distorted than the line 6 does haha, help?

  • @a7xALLthaWAY do it man the vyper is one of the best amps i have ever played i have the 30w and its got a lot of kick for just a 30 so i say go for it

  • @ftownskater3 Ahhh I'm still not sure haha... My line 6 is loud and all but it does seem to gives a lot of feedback.. Still not sure on whether I want to take it back or not

  • videos dont do it justice

  • 2:08 what song is that?!

  • @InsaneHatcheteer Message in a Bottle - The Police

  • Finally got the 30 watt version! This amp is plain awesome! I asked the guy from the guitar store about the freezing issue, he said none of the vypyr amps froze on them so far, plus if you're gonna use it just for practice it wouldn't be such a big problem, you can just reset the power. :)

This is amp is very loud though, volume 1 is enough to wake up your parents. I'm playing through normal headphones and the quality of the sound is as good as playing it without the headphones, in my opinion.

  • @jscruz27 I've had the 30 for about a year and a half and have never had a freeze-up. It can take 1 - 2 seconds to come back from tuner mode, but that's no major concern.

  • whats better the line 6 spider 4 75 or the peavey vypyr? i really wanna know

  • @randomstuff19 peavey

  • @randomstuff19 definatly the vypyr....

  • it sucks if anyone wants a 15wt i have one its sucks to me perfect condition

  • Spider IV 75 or Peavey Vypyr 60?????

  • what guitar is that?

  • is this 30 watts and please please tell me if i should get this instead of the marshall mg30fx pleeease

  • @ecgedsel Its right there on the tag on the amp.

  • @ecgedsel get the vypy 30 i have one and its very good for metal rock and blues...my friend has a mg30fx and the vypyr is double mpore loud

  • does anyone know what riff hes playing on 1:20

  • @awsomedudewoot idk, it's probably a made up riff, but it kinda sounds like White Lion a little

  • 7 Line 6 fans

  • Your guitar playing is annoying me for some reason... but this amp is very good.

  • @Emceetem He makes every amp sound the same somehow lol.

  • i should of got this..... i got the spider.... FAIL

  • @Zorlak108 Which one did you get?

  • @MrJuico1337 Spider IV 30

  • I wonder if you could cut a corner for me do you know the setting for comfortably numb if so could you pass them onto me.

  • i just got the 100w and I'm happy with it. does anyone have experience with the USB out for recording, as far as general latency, and quality?

  • Should I go for the 30 watt or the 75 watt? I'm mostly play metal and I'm going to use it for home and band practice. Is the 30 watt enough for band practice? Please reply! :D

  • @CrimzonAE no dude the best one is the 75 watts,30 can do with a drummer but when you get a bass player and the other guitarist itll shut you down plus maybe it can do with 30 but with 75 you can do a pretty big venue.

  • i heard that this one sounds better then the spider 4 but that this one freezes alot....

sorry but im not interested in an amp that freezes at the start xD

  • @OrcMageRocker it's only the older models.

  • oh this blows the spiders out of the water especially with its customizable effects I'm sold

  • @akiman89 the spider iv is alot better lol.

and yes it has customizable effects and awesome presets.

  • @Viterkim YEAH BUT SPIDER SOUND QUALITY IS REALLY DULL....

  • @JeffreyCentino97 no its not its the same thing

  • @Viterkim huh, says you, ONLY...!LOL

  • @JeffreyCentino97 yeah go into a spider IV video and see the opposite.

    Close minded noob

  • @Viterkim Really, If you don't know shi* between digital and analog, you must be all around your car stereo for a long time, old school..

  • i have that amp its awesome i really like the distortion it really satisfy sound

  • @ altumpaul so do i and i cant agree more...i have a bunch of presets that i set under bank A that i use alot..

  • @ciadude2

I have a Ibanez RG370DX, and it sounds great with my 100watt model of this amp!

  • im getting one of these on sunday, after watching this video i think i will explode with excitement. every single one of those effects sounds AWESOME!

  • Get a Sanpera 2 foot switch too, it's awesome. See the demo's! Good luck!

  • I'd recommend to buy a good Distortion Pedal if u are into Heavy Metal

don't really like the distortion on this amp

but other than that it kicks ass

  • Reverse is awsome

  • i have this amp and i play my ibanez rg350dx through it and it sounds so badass best 200 buks i have ever spent

  • Just bought it today and replaced my 75 soider 6, it fucking pwns all!

  • Yea! the amp is a beast! and with the Footwitch its Superbe! .. but i didnt like the smug little 'British sounding' amp comment .. Dont Say it like were Scum! ( 2:30 ) .. but other than that! It ROCKs!

  • I have this in 15 watt and it kicks ass! I cant wait to get a cabinet for my crate though.I dont generally like crate except for the blue voodoo but i got a gx140ch and it is this best thing i have ever heard

  • Okay thanks for comment!!! It helped alot

  • Wanna get a Vypyr 100 and a guitar between the price of the ESP LTD MH-50 and the Ibanez RG370. Which guitars do you prefer??? It should have 24 frets and a Floyd Rose bridge. Strat shape I like most. Plz help me!!!

  • @ManowarFan1985

I have an Ibanez s470 that i managed to get for £300 from a music store near me :), its amazing.

  • I absolutely love ESPs, and I recommend the ESP. However, if you randomly guessed between the two, you will get a great guitar regardless. However the ESP comes with a floyd, and the ibanez comes with an Edge, I think. I vote ESP. PM me if you have questions. The reply may be a little late though, sorry...

  • @reddeltasev07

What ESP do you have??? I think the LTD MH-100 or M-100FM is the best in this price class. Do you know about Dean guitars???

  • I have a low end AX-50 and a EC 400, but I pretty much live at my uncle's house, and he owns like 6 $600 plus ESPs, and I have played all of them a lot. I would take the M-100fm, because the fingerboard is very wide, but the neck itself is small. Very good for metal-shreddiness. I do not have as much experience with Deans in the same price range, but they don't have as much of a solid feel to them, and ESP fingerboard wood is much better. Also, the basswood body is easy on your shoulders.

  • Are there any differences between the M-100FM and the MH-100 (except colour and headstock)???

  • Hey man nice vid.I just bought one of these and i love it, but im not getting alot of tone out of it. I either get over the top distortion or if i play it on the clean settings, it soun ds almost muted. I have a cheap guitar ( esp ltd viper 50) so maybe that is the problem. Would it help to stick better pickups in it? I was thinking of emgs (81-neck, 85 bridge)?

  • thx man! this helped ALOT!

  • actually sounds good!

  • I am having trouble in deciding wether I should get this amp, or the Line 6 Spider IV 30 watt amp. I tested both of them, and I like em both. Help please!

  • I think the peavey vypyr is a bit more interesting because of all of the extra functions u get, so im thinking of one myself, biggest reason is the abillity to experiment with lots of different modes, i think, atleast I will learn a lot more then what i can from my current Spider III 15.

Hope that helped you somewhat. =)

  • Thanks man, yeah the Vypyr has alot more functions haha.

  • Your welcome mate, im actually ordering a vypyr 100 now this weekend, its gonna be great=)

  • Cool, tell me how it works out :)

  • peavey

  • Depends. If you want to be a wannabe and use other people's sounds, get the Line6, if you want to spend more time getting your own sounds from the get go, the Vypyr is for you. I play in a band so the Vypyr is more desirable. Line6 is cheaper, right?

  • Well at Guitar Center, the Line 6 amps are $20 more expensive than the Vypyrs.

  • Oh. At my local shop, the Line 6 is ~$15 cheaper (I'm in the UK :) )

  • Oh, maybe that's why haha :)

  • OMG. Yes. thats right. THATS RITE!!

  • In fact vypyr is for metal and rock( a very brutal and powerfull amp, don't be fooled by its size). The line 6 spider is digital and is not brutal at all compared to the peavey

  • omg I have that Peavey Vypyr but it will be shit sound clear and vague and that sucks he uses it quite certainly pedal or it is such a good guitar

  • musicMAN6001998 its jst cause he can actually play guitar

  • Hey people I am in doubt between this amp (but 75 model) and Roland Cube 80x!What is your opinion, wich one to choose?I play rock and hard rock mostly.

  • klokan16 the roland distortion is sort off fuzzy compared to the vyper, dunnno why

  • Vypyr 15 rules, I got one now.

But the Line6 Spider IV is definately the more brutal-one.

  • Spiders sound terrible, very digital sound.

  • Yeah, but I think its better for metal-dudes.

I never heard any other amp that had so much bit on it, really.

  • *bite I mean

  • Yeah, I have a spider ;(

  • @xrunepk3rzx I own a practice amp from line 6 called micro spider and this amp is just awesome. anywhere I go with it ,other guitarrists cant stop jamming on it and want me to sell em.

  • @xrunepk3rzx Yeah I went to jam at a friends house and he let me use his Spider, I decided to just go direct with my Behringer Vintage Tube Overdrive Pedal and nothing else if that tells you anything lol.

  • @xrunepk3rzx line 6 is way digital, that is the thing i guess.

  • @xrunepk3rzx I like how only Vypyr fans feel the need to whine about the Spider, but not the other way around.

  • @MrJuico1337 Alot of people complain about the spider, especially the tube users.

  • @KissMeImPunk I gotta say, having played the Spider IV 75 I was fucking delighted.

Mind you, I'm a fan of clean, sterile guitar sounds.

I suppose it's just personal preference, though.

  • @MrJuico1337 You never played III?

  • @KissMeImPunk Never.

I can't see it being better than the IV, obviously.

  • @MrJuico1337- Everyone whines about the spider, not just vypyr users, probably because a lot of people think the spiders are trash.

  • @superlou1s spiders are trash they suck there horrible

  • @xrunepk3rzx -.-'

    thank you.

  • I thought the Spiders sounded good, but Vypyr Tube 120 = TONEGASM

  • @xrunepk3rzx I totally agree with you! I've been stuck with a sh*tty Spider 3 15W for a couple years now, I'm sick of it now. I'm upgrading to a Peavey Vypyr 30W this holiday; couldnt be happier :D

  • Nice demo. Thanks! I'm sold!! Wish I could afford more than the 15.

  • lol half this stuff i would never use

  • Fuck yeah!

  • The Line 6 spider IV sucks! Awful sonding Amp

  • the "legend" preset kinda sounds like van halen

  • ....you think?

  • just saying.

  • haha lol

  • this or the behringer lx112 ??

  • higher wattage makes a lot of difference, but only really when cranked up loud. Well that's the case with Valve amps,

  • Its definately a great practice amp, almost flawless.... just dont try and play it at a gig

  • i got one of these 15 watt and tbh i find em noisy and muddy and digital sounding imo, not tryed the 30 watt but im not really gonna tbh, i mean look how well set up the speaker is ect... it still sounds thin in a digital/weird way to me and if you look on a 15 watt marshall mg review with a speaker set up properly they sound BIG like a bear or somthin... lol

  • have the 100 watt ss and its froze up on me 4 times. have had it only 2 months..not impressed with it gonna trade soon..over all i think it sucks..theres way way better out there for the price..

  • very cool and good practice amp but the sound sounds wayyy too digital

  • its analog, you dumb duck..

  • You want digital? Check out Line 6..

  • Line 6 is maybe digital but it`s sound`s horrible

  • Exactly. Vypyrs are way better.

  • hmm, not that impressed after seeing this.
