Love it! I remember seeing this special on Cinemax back in the mid 80s. We recorded it to Betamax and I watched it over and over. It's been years since I have seen this. Today, I was visiting my dad and he started playing it. I said where did you get this from? He has it on DVD. I never knew this special was on DVD. Now I am going to get one for me :-)
These are the MASTERS .... Thanks for sharing it ... anyone watching it would have to be blind not to see the difference in talent and onstage attitude and presence to todays stars.
Carl, Eric, and Ringo rock their butts off in this classic performance! I love how Carl jumps back at 1:21 while watching Clapton rip into his first solo.
@Darkpietje Just listen to Ringo's vocals on The Beatles' Boys, Matchbox, Act Naturally, Honey Don't. Listen to Ringo's Beaucoups of Blues album. He was a great country/rockabilly singer.
All compliments for Ringo,Carl, "Master of Routine"...and all the people from the band on stage . Performance and upload is great, amazing for all of us!!!
the drummer is ringo starr and he drummed for the beatles. maybe you heard of them? the first guitar solo is by eric clapton. the second solo is carl perkins.
wonderful!!!

Hot solos by Clapton and the best drumming Ringo has ever done by far. Long live the memory of the late great Carl Perkins!
