  • do you have halloween for atari 2600?

  • Back in the day (+/-1998) i saw this copybox in a computer magazine.

For 1300 guldens (old Dutch money) that is about 600 dollars!!!

  • i can do one better i got at a local flea market a 2600 plus 45 games for 57 bucks and some of the games were still factory sealed the factory sealed games i received with it were mspacman asteroids digdug joust qbert gorf omegarace wizardofwor crystalcastles vanguard moonpatrol gravitar a supercharger with a sealed copy of dragonstomper the guy who sold them also ran a shop that sold games he was in the process of closing his shop and he was liquidating his unsold stuff at the flea market

  • That's cool . Cool story . I like videos

  • your hot

  • Damn! I saw a golden colored one at a thrift store!!! If only I knew!!!! It's probably gone now... I'll check tomorrow :P

  • I have a super famicom with a game doctor 3 and it lets me play pal snes games and super Nintendo and super famicom

  • @Capsfan1985 I've also got one of the doctor 3's. Cool.

  • There is a couple of modified "bioses" floating around for the Z64 which adds hd and compact flash support if you ever would want faster loading times and more storage.

  • ur so lucky i really want one of these

  • thats, worth to me well is priceless !

  • can you put n64 roms on a zip disk and play em on the 64?

  • @Spazmify I heard that you could, first of all, make a backup of your own game, then put the disc in your PC, find it, then try putting your roms in that exact same directory. I don't know if that'll work but you can try, the game should be a single file like this, Super Mario 64.z64

  • You Lucky @^%#$&!!!

I would love the Z64 just to play with it!

I have most of the same 2600 games but I have pretty much the same Intellivision games boxed which I got with the console, controllers, games ect..the complete deal was $5.00 at a yard sale :0)

God I miss some of the perks of City life lol!

  • I used to have one of those.

Back in the day, there were sites like dextrose, erkay.de, and others that had cracks and rips of games before they were released. The big thing is that you had to have a boot cartridge for it to work. Use an OLD game like Mario 64 or Goldeneye 64 as your boot disk (put it in the slot on top). Any game released after 1998 or so will prolly require a crack...no idea where to get those nowadays.

FYI...I sold mine back in 2000 or 2001 with a few disks for ~ $500.

  • I have one of these for sale! I have no idea how much I should ask for it, but I know they are super rare. You can see it on craigslist in Gainesville, FL. I would be willing to ship if anyone wants.

  • @DaisyX320 Do you still have it for sale? I tried to look at your craigslist add but it was removed

  • @123Sideshow Almost too easy. Why didn't I get this back then!?!?

  • Holy Crap! You struck gold, my friend! :-D

  • @8BitROB That I did.

  • Ahhh, I watched the videos in the wrong order, I just saw your other video about this device...

Damn, I never find any cool stuff on the fleamarkets ;-)

  • @Atarix777 I know. All of the flea markets around here suck balls. there use to be this old guy that sold old Nintendo stuff, but once he ran out of stuff he never got more....now there's nothing good around here

  • So I hope you are the guy that got at least all his good stuff back then ;-D

  • @SpazFactorial I got a few good things off of him, but I quit going to him because he pissed me off. He sold me an NES controller pad and told me it worked like it was new...took it home and it wouldn't work...So i took it apart thinking maybe there was a loose solder somewhere only to find that the controller chip was completely broken in half. I took it back and he refused to do anything about it. I understand it was a flea market, but don't be a douch about it you know, haha

  • Awesome finds Dinky!! That Z64 is a treasure find for sure!!!!

  • That is one awesome add-on for the N64 Dana, and the boxed Atari 2600 games... freakin' sweeeeeeeeet, Even more awesome that you had the Tele-Games boxes too = )

  • Wtf, the N64 trying to compete with the Genesis in a "who have the biggest add-ons" duel... hahaha

Such a nice device, I would like to find one of those.... Also, nice score with the Atari games man, is always hard to find boxed copies....

  • @FenderLesPaul1989 Seriously. If I ever get the Dr. V64, just wait to see the massive tower. The V64 reminds me of a storm trooper helmet for some reason.

  • Interesting, like to see more about it.

  • @funexplorer1 Review is now up. = D

  • Your vids are just so awesome. great stuff , keep going (Y) !

  • @Jukiz0 Thanks Jukiz0

  • Boxed Atari games are hard to find

  • That is a seriously good find with the boxed atari games, they look in fantastic shape mate. I envy you with that z64 i've only ever seen photos of that thing on google but never known somebody to actually own one

  • @airrunner85 I absolutely could not believe the guy had it there. And then the Atari games as a bonus on top of it.

  • Wow, that would of been a dangerous device to have back in the day Haha!! I have never seen one before but it looks really cool. Congrats on the Atari games Dinky!!!

  • @jillpoo3 Thanks Jillpoo

  • I know nothing about this but it looks really cool.

  • @xTHExSTIGx No problem Stig.

  • @JannettyTheRocker Talk about bizarre collection of games in this one, right? I couldn't believe that guy had all the Atari let alone a Z64. And the Star Wars was just an added bonus. = D

  • So can you just play the games straight off the zip disc with the device plugged into the n64? That would have been ridiculously cool to have back in the day.

  • @n8great321 That's what I was thinking. I've always dreamed of a device like this....just got it 10 years too late! lol

  • LOL, haven't heard of or seen ZIP disks in a loooong time

  • But can you play the games copied to zip disk?

  • Hey DinkyDana how would that work though? Back then you couldnt emulate games so what would that disc do?

  • @BiggDaddyBubbles You could play the games on the disk directly through the Z64. So you put the backup disk in and choose which rom you want on-screen and you can play it.

  • @DlNKYDANA .....KEWL!

  • man your flee markets are like gold! Mine never has ANYTHING for gaming and if there is, its just sports games. I mostly just find vinyl records.

  • @jumblejunkie I know! I really have been getting a lot there and it seems like an endless supply since summer's hit.

  • Awesome stuff

  • Oh wow Dinky, That is a crazy find........Awesome! Lol!!

  • What a gold mine of a find. Excellent pick-ups, and it is always great to see atari games complete.

  • @TheCompletionist It's one of things where you always go to the flea market and pick up a few things here and there....but one time it pays of big like this one.

  • i got a n64 yesterday for £5 !! but i only ave 1 game called pokemon snap

  • if only xbox360/Ps3 had this acessory!!! haha

  • First time i've seen one of these man, also nice pickups, great video

  • I got two of those things for the SNES... you wont see them on eBay as they dont allow the selling of them due to the reason they are used to copy games! Stupid really. Thats why Im stuck with mine ha ha. They are rare though ;o)

  • @interghost Yeah, kind of dumb nowadays since they're pretty irrelevant.

  • Just pick up n64 myth flashcart. It has a build-in cic emulator and it plays every single game i tried :-P

  • man old scool machines have a lot of add ons

  • OOoooo...and nice boxed 26 hundo games!

  • This is awesome brotha! Nice find.

  • Dude! Sweet Atari 2600 boxes! So rare and cool. I wish I still had my old boxes.

  • @poptartlove2010 I got rid of all my old NES and Atari boxes too. : (

  • HEY DINKYDANA dude google PROJECTIONISTMOK86, EBAY and check out some of the games im selling i hope i have something that catches your eye

  • interesting but do you know if their is anything like this for the snes? well I might not be completely sure of the usage but I wanted to maybe try and put like translated versions of Jap only games on a cart or something because I like playing stuff better on the console instead of roms and for my weird collection purposes lol

  • @guitaristdude0 I have two devices for the SNES. They are not allowed to sell them on eBay so they are very hard to get now!! Are you in the UK if so you can buy mine ;o)

  • old skool gaming

  • Wow very cool device they should make those for like xbox or something, wouldn't mind getting my hands one of those back in the day

  • I personally have a Dr. V64. It sits under the n64, you can backup games by plugging them directly into the unit and the unit into a pc's parallel port. You can run game roms on a the real n64 system when the two systems are connected off of the v64's cd-rom drive. You can also load games directly into the v64 ram via a pc parallel port but thats pretty slow.

The v64 can run games up to 256megabits (most games) but it can dump/backup any game.

The emulation is great for games people modded.

  • @gamemaster14neo This one is essentially the same thing but it's a bit easier (dumbed down) for use. Of course it can't connect through the PC parallel port and I do not believe it's as good for modded games. Since there is no way to connect the device to the PC, you'd have to get the modded game onto the zip disk somehow.

  • @DlNKYDANA All you would need is a pc zip drive and you could probably find one dirt cheap on ebay these days.

  • very cool stuff I haven't seen n64 cart copiers before but I see a lot of snes ones around.

  • On Friday I found 3 boxed atari games with silver boxes at my grandmas house =) I made a video about them

  • @masterpokegirl Nice.

  • So you could put roms on the zip disk and play them on your N64! Maybe even homebrew?

  • @sinistermoon Yup, that's the gyst of it. I think the CD64 was better for the homebrew but I'm sure they'd work on this as well. Assuming you had a way to transfer them from the PC to the zip disk.

  • @DlNKYDANA

I would just use a USB zip drive.

  • I had similar for the SNES accept it recorded to 3.5' floppies. It worked very well actually.

  • @MaximumRD I'd like to get one for the SNES. I hardly have any games for that system.

  • @DlNKYDANA You'd be better served with an Powerpak from RetroUSB, looks just like a cartridge but loads roms from SD card, they have them for NES and SNES.

  • @MaximumRD Very true. Then again, I guess I could easily play all these games with just an emulator. For some reason I have to collect the originals. lol

  • @DlNKYDANA wheres is the mrs.backup?lol

  • That's so sick!
