Ok i need some peoples opinions.....recenty i started looking at some hidden blades for sale online at musem replics. I also got a desmond hoodie from ubiworkshop. So the problem is their are 2 hidden blades altairs and ezios as u just saw. I just cant decide on which ones better. Ezios blade i think is 2 small and it looks like u have to push it for the blade to come in. But ezios blade also comes with an awesome leather bracer. I want a blade that just uses gravity to deflect like in the game

I've got this one myself. Great mechanism, no spring actually, just a slide and lock. The blade itself is not sharp at all and has a dull rounded tip. It is steel but is terribly dull. The whole thing is metal, just painted a cheap, bright white with some black paint and scrollwork. Again, great mechanism, but overall not worth $125 since it's got such a poor blade that requires full sharpening, especially of the rounded tip. Great costume piece but illegal in some states as an OTF knife.

Seriously, Museum Replicas and the makers of this, Atlanta Cutlery Co, charge US$125.00. From the look of it, it's got a horrible cheap paintjob, sounds suspiciously plastic-y (though that might be the sound quality of the video) and it doesn't appear to have a) a spring-loaded extention or b) a smooth extension movement. I'm stunned that Ubisoft granted the licence to ACC after seeing their finished products. There are far better fan-made models with a far better extension/retraction system.
