I have also known people who totally turned their back on punk as they got older music and all but that's them. Nothing to be with me and those who still love the music.
Look! If some person over the age of 30 wants to live the punk lifestyle and want to dress up like it then I say GO FOR IT! Does it really make a fucking difference how a person dresses? I am 41 years old and I still love punk after all these years. I have known people about my age who have had to tone down their look (myself included) for whatever reason and yet they are still into the music. It's all about what's in your heart and mind at the end of the day.
Wow, what a fantastic movie... I really did enjoy this, it was better than I was expecting to be honest, and definitely worth a watch! Watch it online in great quality at: freemoviehub.netX remove X
@theonlytruepunk yeah fucking right man how many people 40+ have youseen that look punk, for me none! and yess it all started around 75 so lets say they were 15 then they would be 45 now so no the punk look is not for life, and there is no punk lifestyle other then going to shows and listing to the music
I still look dress the way I want to and cut my hair the way I want to. There is no punk lifestyle...that is true. Punk for life, bitch! I do know a lot of my "punk" friends and I still look like we did in the '70's...so fuck you, you fucking moron!!
You know it is so good to see people at least my age and older still into this music. I have known some people who were into this stuff in the 80's that have totally did a 180 and now are living in the suburbs with the 4 kids, white picket fence, the minivan and are somewhat conservative. I say keep rocking!
from what i can see its drongos for europe, uk subs, picture frame seduction, demob, us bombs, MDM, TV Smith, Vibrators, all rightfully now documented as not only keeping the scene alive for years but the reason why you have green day / rancid and even NOFX today. Without these bands and many more like them the scene would have died. If you dont like punk rock you can always leave a message elsewhere, if you do, then this film along with this board is a great way of seing whats what.
Looks like a great addition to the recent cinematic output concerning punk. There is currently a lot of creativity within the genre and it seems many holes that were created by more mainstream attempts are finally being filled in. Nice one!
man fall out boy and that other shitty band are everything but punk. They are just another way to make kids look the other way while their life is being filled with ignorance and hipocrisy
I can't believe a band from mTV like the fallout boys would be called punk.Noone from the old school would have never been apart of the hipocrisy pop world.
this documetary will tell it like it is , the truth about growing up punk , cant wait for it,s release in december , with all the greats including u.s. chaos
