Is your Crysis Sandbox also bugged? That your textures doesn't appear and that they dont have the right color. And then you have to reload everything and hope it works, if it doesn't work you have to start all over again.

And when you create a new map you can't even enter it sometimes,

And when you go away a couple of meters from a bush or some grass it turns into some pixel thing, even tho Iam playing on Very High.

I really need some help with these problems.

@cianw10 Crisis 2 is coming out in december. So far there's Crysis, Crysis Wars (for multiplayer) and Crysis Warhead (an expansion). I suggest you just get Crysis Maximum Edition which contains all of them. You can get it on ebay for like 20 or 30 dollars. After you get it, you look on the main crysis disk for a folder called "sandbox" and install the editor. Simple as pie.

@teedonster No this isn't you could do this with garrysmod but that would take a few things lets start with

1)HUD notice they are in different locations + a mini map

2)Weapons

3)Physics if you notices when the octapus thing hit the ground the screen shaked you would only get that in garrys mod if you shot a gun or if you got rammed by a antlion guard

4)My friend these physics are WAY better then hl2 can give so no its impossible to be a gmod ripoff if anything its other way around

@galloway6204 Yes you can fully construct maps and customize it with items and such, but no phys or tool, you can a "Hammer" like level editor but in sandbox2 you can jump right into the game at any time

@galloway6204 I doubt they will make such a mod for Crysis 2, Garrys Mod was created due to the Engine it was built with, it was extremely mod-able so there for garry decided to create it, Crysis' engine is more complex and advanced.

Cryengine2 is the game enigne for crysis so yes, cryengine2 is what powers sandbox 2. I don't think you can buy cryengine either. If it's an unsupported video card, try to buy a supported video card.

Explore your Crysis Disk and find editor install. Execute it and it will begin to install. Sandbox 2 is "Modding" software that allows you to create your own levels using the Cry engine 2. This is the same editor that was used to make the game.

make sure you have a map loaded and ctrl + g should work and also if you go to the menu bar and at the top click game then switch to game, works as well. To get out of that mode just it Esc

You need to install it off of your dvd, should be in a folder called sandbox. Then need to go the the Electronic Arts folder, then Crytek, Crysis, Bin32, and it should be called Editor.exe. You may have to re apply the patch but idk.
