This was a lot better than the Degrassi they have now. I think it's because this one had a "realistic" tone to it that the other one didn't. I find the new Degrassi to be too slick, shiny and packaged.

@waivedwench The new Degrassi was fine until they overdid it with the drama after drama after drama and they hit pretty much everything both Junior High and High did so why does the series need to be 11 seasons when the other 2 were only 2 or 3?

monday night at 8:30 on CBC. I even remember watching Danger Bay too. Another good show. LOL Back in the 80's they made good tv shows not like the garbage today. I still find myself watching all the old shows cause the new ones all suck ass lol Salute to all degrassi fans!!!

Others have the right to prefer old shows. It is wrong to assume someone is close-minded because they do not like present-day television. Open-minded people can indeed favour the past, and, many do.
