An even better way is, in the beginning when he is fighting the four horseman, there is a hole with water at the bottom. Every time you jump in then climb out 2 horseman will spawn. Keep doing that until you have 10-12 horseman then you can just kill them all for an easy 1500-2000 souls. Dont do more then 12 bc there is a very good chance that the game will crash.

lol when i lvled up the harvester and gauntlets on spiders, by the time i was done i had over 20k souls which was more than enough for the wrath core and weapon abilities

The dark rider trophy is the easiest one to get!! Before i went to sleep i went to leviathans drift and put a rubber band on my controller so that war and ruin would run around in circles!! Then when i woke up for the first time i already had the trophy!!! It's so easy to do and awesome all you have to do is sleep!!!

@Runescape3457 Thats why every game system has a fan. Just make sure your fan is exposed and free of any dust and it will be fine. Plus if it does overheat (which i am 100% sure it wont) Then you could always get another one for free with the warranty that is one it if yours isn't void yet.

Here is a great tip for the achivment "Horseman". If you look at your map in the Ashlands, and in the upper right corner there will be a well guarded by spikes (the icon on the map looks like this) If you want alot of dark rider spawns all you have to do it this:

1. Jump down the well

2. Climb up

3. Repeat

Each time you do this 2-3 dark riders will spawn. I did it a couple of times and i fought like 10-15 at a time (you can spawn more but it will kinda lag)

An even better way is to jump in the well in this very same area, (the well is surrounded by what look likes spikes on the map) Everytime you jump in the well & climb back out, it'll cause a few more horses to spawn. Jump in & out & in & out & keep doing that till you notice War start to flicker a bit...there should be about 30-40 horses to kill. Kill them all, go back to the well & repeat.

If you get the 150 kills on horseback and you don't need anymore souls, I suggest going to the area where you fought the Stygian (Leviathan's Drift), then attach a rubber band to the control so that the LS is pushed to the left. Then you can set down your controller and as long as you're in the open your horse will run in circles. Easy Dark Rider achievement.

@Milarecs the achievement/trophy requires to ride 100 miles...they dont want u to do it in one go just ride 100 miles (works the same with the kills)

Strangely enough, the PS3 version also has screen tearing problems. I've been experiencing quite a few of them during my play through of this game.

Your weapon attachments aren't doing anything because the soul bonus is a slotted bonus, it only works on the weapon it's slotted to. You're better off doing it before you get the Armaggeddon blade, that way you can use Deaths Blessing on Choaseater.

You don't seem to get alot more, but it helps a little.

Less damage? It takes the exact same amount of hits as it does in the video. And what? I thikn you're confused.

Soul bonus = slotted bonus.

Slotted bonus only works on the weapon it's slotted to.

Passive bonus = works all the time, but is irrelevant to this technique because the bonus that gives you extra souls is SLOTTED.

@TheMrgt you can only replay the story by starting a new file - however, you can start a new file with the Abyssal Armor if you collect it in a previous file, but nothing else. You can still free roam after completing the story, if that is the answer you are looking for. Not sure which you meant, based on your question.

It's actually better to go through the tunnel with the 7-8 blue demons in it, kill them and go back; the riders will have respawned. After you kill the riders, go under the stone bridge to make sure the blue demons respawn, repeat the process ad infinitum :)

yeah the horse rider achievement is a secret achievement, but mainly he's showing you the easiest way to gather souls to buy upgrades

I had a question. When you head back to the beginning of your "trip," near Vulgrim, are the horsemen supposed to respawn? When I start heading back to the arena, the horsemen aren't there but the other demons are (in the chasm). When I head back from the arena, the horsemen do respawn. I was just wondering if the horsemen are supposed to respawn twice in one trip, or only on the second half of the trip.

yes, they should. Make sure that you kill all four/five horsemen, it never seems to be the same, and that you go all of the way back into the pathway, towards the entrance to the ashlands, between the two areas that i mention. If that doesn't work, try resetting the area completely by going back through the serpenthole to another area, then back.

Another note. Kind of from your other vid because you did it more in that one but anyways. When dashing with war if you jump in the air, air dash (RB), and hold the dash button, youll dash again once you hit the ground. I found it to be a quicker way of getting around personally.

Hey Kuddles, I dont know if youve noticed this or tried it but if you dismount ruin then quickly remount all of its charge bars are back. This should help speed up everything you were doing in this video. Great videos, cant wait to see the 100% guide.

No, in order to play through the story again you must start a new game file, where you must re-collect the Abyssal Armor Pieces.
