my pitbull is 1 and only weighs about 50 and still growing

her dad is a brindle amstaff and mom is a red nose APBT

she takes more after her mom though. doesnt have a whole lot of amstaff traits.

nice dogs but theres no such breed as a blue pit bull terrier they get the blue from a italian mastiff also known as a neapolitan. and american pit bull terriers max out at 45-60 lbs and maybe 70. but great dogs

@44landin no one said they blue was the breed first off... and the apbt can reach over 70 lbs with good breeding .ukc says as long as the dog is proportional so dont know where u did you reserch but your wrong. sorry if you got a small apbt lab mix for yourself and he only reached 50 lbs. so you go arround you tube hating on others over 70lbs you need to call ukc and tell them how to do there job when they been doing it longer the you been alive do better reserch bro. WRONG AND EPIC FAIL

I am very interested in the American pit bull terrier. However, when i look for breeders and pups online i have to filter out the backyard breeders ex. razors edge. Is there an easier way to get a registered pure bred APBT?

@TheEgoFanBoy1 the best way is to know what your dealing with papers help but soo many breeders hang the papers and breed with extra stuff and then back breed the dogs you have to know what to look for to get a true apbt go to akc or ukc website and they have the standerd of size or chest or hight and make sure you get to see the parents first and and you can tell alot by them or the nose to short is not good

@TheEgoFanBoy1 I cannot understand why you would pay anything for a pit bull. There are thousands of good dog on pbrc.com. Razors edge and Gottie are product dog. They are very good looking dogs, but only bred to increase sales. They may not be the most healthy dogs. Please consider adoption.

@ELMATAZETAS420 idont know if your looking for muscle big head you need to buy a bully true apbt are not big muscular dogs they are lean small athletic dogs the dad in the vid is ukc he is as big as apbt should get any thing over 80 lbs is bully or paper hung with mastif or more bulldog

How do you make the ears stand up? I just got my pups bandages tar off today he has 1 week since the surgery do they stand alone

what crop style did you get if its long crop they might need help but if its show crop like my dog here they dont but i had to get some good tape and do a little tapeing you can use the little plastic things that come in a collard shirt collars and tape arround them and it will help but they should not need much help if it is a shorter crop

Yea dont be so sure... i wasnt planning on breeding mine til about a year. He was 6 months when he got her!!

Vet said it doesnt mean it will affect the pups... all in the genes. so watch out.. he'll get her qwik!

well i went back and forth on that i did not want to put the dog through any pain at all that was my main problem but when the vet told me he could go home with pain meds and that it was not any worse than cuting his nuts off to fix him i went ahead and did it i know some people think that it is crule but i know my dog and when he came out of the vet he did not event act hurt or anything and his ears stay cleaner on the in side
