XSATA unboxing (xbox 360)

I want to download mods and stuff to my GTA4 game like cars and trophey trucks, and ill buy xsata if I need it to mod, but would I also need an xbox live account to do so. If I do then there is no way in hell Im going to buy the xsata. So do I need an xbox live account?

@r2seeu heck no dont buy it, it will give u red ring of death i bought mines 2 month ago and i tried to mod then i got red ring of death and its actually very hard to mod with it and if u unplug usb and play with it on ur hdd it will have memory loss. its not stable also so i broke mines im happy one more thing when u take it out it damages ur xbox and very hard to take out by a transfer cable easy to mod with easy to take out no damage or mem loss so dont by dum XSATA

@xxdonguth3xx You need some type of transfer cable to act as a bridge between your HDD and your computer. xsata is one product you can choose, but I'm more found of the xport 360.

I'm not too sure, but I believe if you call MS you can get them to send you a transfer cable for free.

xport dosent go on your 360 and wont break as easy. it can also read memory cards, the LEDS on xsata start to wear off after awhile. I think im going to buy a xport instead.

u cannot be banned unless u put it on ur fileshare. i can put them on my fileshare and i dont get banned because a few of my friends are bungie staff members. its pretty cool so if u ever make a map and dont want to get caught u can just make a new acc and get on ur map with ur main acc or send the map to me and ill put on my fileshare so u can play from there. im only going to put 6 maps on there and 2 ppl have already asked me, so. yea. but it wont be any trouble for me.

No you cant Its actually a backup utility for the xbox 360

You can get band for using it to mod your console
