  • Rich Little does the best James Stewart impersonation ever. Rich sounds more like James then Jame does...lol

  • Best Cary Grant impression was Tony Curtis in Some Like It Hot.

  • I love how he does HIS impression of someone and then makes fun of HIS impression. Pure fucking comedy genius ..not really. Loved Dana Carvey back in the day....but then he just took a shit. This is the only Carvey bit I can laugh at anymore.

  • Chewbacca actually lives on kashyyyk

  • Dana Carvey is undoubtedly the funniest impressionist of all time, hands down, I dare anyone to challenge me and these are his funniest bits

  • most ppl dont understand dana because theyre all young, if u grew up in the 90s and knew about what he was talking about, youd be laughing ur ass off. i think its still funny as shit.

  • lol i can Dana Carvey and bush making phrank phone calls to china lol

  • 50 people heard a little ringy dingy.

  • Sadly, he's retired from movies for a while to care for his family.

  • it really bothers me that 50 people dislike this. DC is truly one of the greatest that you will ever see and that may ever be.

  • MEYAH....... MEYA........ HOW.........WELL THAT DEFNTLY A PLESURABLE SENSATION!

THATS A HUMDINGER.......WOULD YOU MIND SQUEEZING IT A BIT?

NOW DONT BE AFRAID IT COULD BE YOUR FRIEND

  • thats incredible

  • I Love Dana !!!! So great !!!

  • Dana Carvey is the best, lmao

  • I do a better jimmy stewart ha!

  • @Apeshavenotails2 while you suck an ape tit, nigger?

  • Danas hot.

  • "Hey gov'nah!" har har har.

  • As far as impressions and being honestly funny without even trying, Dana was the best on SNL. No one can hold a candle to him. He's a comic genuis.

  • Dana Carvey is one of the best ever.

  • I mention Carvey, Stewart, and Hepburn in The Celebrity Song.

  • This is great! I liked his impression better on SNL when they had the "Lost Ending" to It's A Wonderful Life. It makes me pee a little bit every time.

  • I'm not sure that Dana's quite as funny as I remember him in the early 90s. This kind of comedy is very dated.

  • why do people dislike this stuff? its genius

  • We got 3D tv's in our daily life but lets put 240p vids on youtube!!! FFS!

  • "I think she's FLOODED!"

    LOL!

  • his Cary Grant is VERY good!

  • Jim Carrey's impersonation of Jimmy Stewart is better. I like Carvey's stand up overall, and he was pretty good on SNL. It's just too bad his movies suck so much ass. He might have been around longer otherwise.

  • @jdlund dana was chosen to be on snl in 86 over jimmy. dana left the vicious world in idk late 90s to tend to his family because he is amazing, and he has been doin a handful of stuff since, and all of it is hilarious... One of the greatest comedians of all time right there.

  • This clip is from his stand up special called "Critic's Choice"

  • anyone know what this stand up special is called? if it even has a name or is it just like The Dana Carvey HBO special or something

  • Cary Grant going to a FEMALE prostitute, yeah right...

  • I'M THE THECRET THQUAAAAAARE!!! <3 Dana!

  • OMFG ITS GARTH!!!!!

  • Careys heart gave out I dont know if god was punishing him or not

  • @fattony252 If god punishes people for making people laugh, I'd rather go to hell...

  • This 1995 special of Dana Carvey is one of the best stand up acts of all time! I used to have a recording of it and watch constantly. Where is Dana carvey talking about his kids? Naked Time was so funny.

  • he's so not funny

  • Two points that must be made.

    1. Why do the British always complain about American impersonations when they are just for the funniness, and not the accuracy? It's still the funniest accent to make fun of over here- you guys don't speak it as sarcastically and giggly as we do. Also... we never go to British videos and make fun of your American impersonations.

    2. Carvey, while he goes "below the belt" a lot, does it in a more witty way than most. "Tongue bathe the willy wonka" for instance.

  • Tuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuurtle

  • The best stand up performance I have ever seen.

This needs to come to blue ray! lol

  • is that the backdrop that john oliver uses on his show now?

  • @ 5:15 "I know, but did you do IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT??" haha

  • I would pay to see him live just to do the Jimmy Stewart impression. One of the funniest things ever.

  • This entire stand up special is one of my favorites. LOVE IT!

  • lol I hope that Bush story is true

  • his impressions of Grant & Stewart are dead on LOL!

  • except for the on part

  • @sirtinycreep

yeah its true man. typical american trying to do an english accent.

  • @sharkchomp16

You do realize that he's impersonating George H.W. Bush, right?

  • i like that the info has stewart and hepburn MAKING OUT! lol

  • I was watching Rear Window the other day, and this is ALL that I could think of. *lmao*

  • Phyllis Diller

  • wrong

  • is that supposed to be hepburn or phyllis diller ?

  • Hepburn

  • Sounds slightly like don knott's also.

  • that was great haha, actually thought the cary grant was slightly better.

  • Aside from his humor, he is also an excellent drummer

  • this is soo hilarious no wonder he's in the master of disguise

    U ROCK DANA!!!

  • Are you serious? His Jimmy Stewart is unbelievable! Absolutely spot-on.

  • Well, Tyler, let's see you do a better one. Jackass.

  • you just violated Ebert's Law. And you're offensive for no reason. Nice work

  • Come on, buddy, let's see you do some impressions that you believe are better than Dana Carvey's....come on, let's see them....

  • This guy is getting paid to do this. Having a critical standpoint doesn't require me being better than him at it.

  • who was he impersonating at 2:54 to 4:33?

  • Jimmy Stewart

  • like it says in the title of the video lol

  • LOOOL Rodger From American Dad!!!!

  • if you don't know the actors that dana's impersonating, i can see why you might not find it funny.

  • his george bush sounds like roger from american dad

  • fuck the haters. dana carvey is a comic god. tthis is hilarious btw.

  • @onelove5191

noone outside your state knows him.

    God my ass

  • @EdTheBadass That doesnt even make sence.

  • @onelove5191

it does not make sense! If Chewbacca lives on Endor, you must acquit!

  • Dont insult Dana Carvey. he's worked his ass off to entertain us. If you are not laughing, you don't have a pulse. His bits are great!

  • thats the damn truth!

  • Well I'm definitely pulseless then.

  • Pretty good. The Bush bit was the funniest part, but the Jimmy Stewart impersonation was great.

  • shit is HILARIOUS and I'm a huge fan of cary, james, and kate. get a funny bone ya'll, this is geniussss

  • lol dana carvey's always benn funny, miss his reruns on snl too!

  • "well that's definitely a pleasurable sensation!" i have been trying to remember that line all week! haha

  • Comment removed

  • that would be Hugh Grant

  • Where Can I Find This Comedy Special On DVD?

  • OH MY GOSHHHHHH...... DANA CARVEY IS FUCKIN HILARIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL .... I LOVE DANA CARVEY..... the hugh grant impresonation was hilarious and dead-on.. the Bush one was hella funny... the james stewart- all of it was fing hilarious!!!! dana carvey is the funniest comedian of all time!!!

  • I like Carrey's impersonation better : / You don't always have to aim below the beltline to make something funny...

  • It is not tasteless, its fucking funny so shut up, crybabies!

  • On the contrary, Jimmy Stewart had a great sense of humor and I think he would have laughed at this!

  • I doubt it. As Red Skelton said, "It takes no talent to tell a dirty joke." This is true. It's not very creative to go on an on with sexually explicit humor. Anyone can do it. It's easy. It's not talent. It's vulgarity and it appeals to the immaturity in us.

This of course is my opinion which I am entitled to it just as you are to yours.

    Peace-

  • "This of course is my opinion which I am entitled to it just as you are to yours."

    Defensive, much?

And anyway, the 'vulgarity' is in context.

And if you've not noticed, this is more about the impression than anything else. If it was just a sex joke he'd have kept with Carey Grant, instead of throwing Stewart and Hepburn into the mix.

  • Whatever...

  • Very True. You don't have to be dirty to be funny. :-)

  • If you don't like it, then don't listen to it. Dirty or not, it's still funny as hell in my opinion.

  • @ntuitive1 agreed, he was a fantastic sport at the Dean Martin roasts. He would of laugh.

  • It's clearly the British stereotype, but then Hugh Grant isn't a very interesting person to imitate... Mostly for being downright annoying.

  • I think she's FLOODED!

  • I think he meant an American BMW as opposed to a EUROPEAN BMW, there is a difference

  • HAha!! i love this guy!! although he said a BMW is American.... LoL. ( German btw )

  • Dana Carvey I thought was always one of the funniest comedians ever. So hilarious on Saturday Night Live, my favorite person from there really.

  • It never occurred to me he's pretty much just doing Paul Lynde when he's being Bush, not until he pointed it out. heh

  • at 3:16 he kinda sounds more like Don Knotts XD Jimmy Stewart and Don Knotts combined XDXD DANA CARVEY ROOCKS :D

  • SO awesome!

  • omg, that Cary Grant impersonation made me tear up!! That was really great....I'm a HUGE fan of Cary Grant, this made my day!

  • dana carvey needs to host saturday night live again.

  • this stand up NEEDS to be put onto DVD

  • is this the special were at the end he sang a song in wich he said "fuckin forty niners"

  • I dislike Carvey, but those were great impersonations!

  • 'cruise the boulevard for a bit of the old goble the old weaner, eej govener'

    'tonguebay the willy Wonka'.

    great

  • The video quality is horrible.

  • I love Dana Carvey! His impressions are incredible. I can't wait to see his new HBO stand-up special.

  • hahaha his jimmy and cary impressions are hilarious! his kate hepburn one is a little weird but funny haha.

  • LOL ... "I think she's flooded" ... LOL!

  • DOOOOOO IT!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

  • This was always my attitude to policing when I worked security. It worked quite well.

  • I wonder who has the bigger bank balance, Mike Myers or poor old Dana?

  • Myers no doubt

  • It would have been nice for Myers to invite him to be in a Shrek or Powers film.

  • Who gives a fuck? Dana is brilliant...and not a whore.

  • You wot?

  • he does and also i cant lie, twat is the best, funniest word ever by the way

  • April 2nd-Happy Birthday Dana Carvey

  • "Didja doooooo it", LOL

  • Jimmy Stewart....awesome

  • His Cary Grant was pretty good, but Jimmy was fanTASTIC!

  • no.

  • yes

  • Yes He does. But Dana shows him when he was older.

  • cary grant! pretty good impression I must say. :)

  • i think shes flooded, hahahah

  • This is so funny i cant get over it!

  • That Hugh Grant monologue was interminable, but soon it becomes very good.

  • thats definitely a pleasurable sensation!! lmao!

  • jimmy stwerawt is a great man and this was stilll funny chill out people

  • Dana Carvey looks so innocent. Like a virgin. Talk about sexy.

  • well thats definitely a pleasureable sensation.

  • -Hey Gov'nah!

  • Dude, imagine a Dana-Carvey--Frank-Caliendo special. Lol.

  • Frank Caliendo is not funny.

  • Sure, he is. Also, he's a great impressionist.
