Nice! Dont worry about the Haterz, Diyin Dine'e is watching them. Some people, or should i say some Navajos think they know all Dine ways. If they do not claim these traditions, they or their families were not present during the teachings. And if im correct, these are southern Navajos. Not all Navajos are the same, most speak differently and have different dances. Like yei dances are central, and bear dances are way up north with the Utes. and i think ribbon/basket are from west...
@yanfeb15 it's About an eight hour drive from Tucson... it's a pain for to go back home because of the long trip but it's worth it. I live in Tucson now... but I'm originally from the Reservation.
It maybe a dance that is a mixture of other tribal dances, but we are one family. It doesn't matter what tribe you come from, all it matters it that we know our religion and tradition.
That was a mixture of Navajo, Aztec, and Pueblo dancing. Navajo's are known for their ability to take other dances and religions and make it their own. :0) Nice dance looks tiresome.
