and gsp has amazing stand up too it might not be on the level of a anderson silvas but i can garantee u his stand up is better than forrest griffins,nate marquadts,patrick cotes(just has two power ands),rich franklins and even hendo's(all he has is a big right hand) so if gsp needs to stand with anderson in this fight he can hold his own and he wont make stupid mistakes

Anderson "scared" of GSP? Now that is absurd! May I remind you that Matt Serra KNOCKED OUT GSP! Anderson is the No.1 Striker in MMA and also the most accurate. He will have 25 minutes in which to tag GSP with either a knee, punch, elbow or kick and GSP's chin will crumble! Remember, GSP will have to shoot in for a takedown and when he does he is going to eat a knee from hell which will send him to LA LA land! GSP is good though, just not Anderson Silva good!

gsp doesnt shoot for a takedown just too shoot he waits for the right time and then shoots his timing is unbelievable so when he does shoot anderson will be out of position too throw a knee or any type of power strike and 25 minutes is a long time in a fight but gsp's ground game will wear anderson out his wresting posture and his abilities on the ground will be too much for anderson and matt serra hits hard and he threw 10 hard shots on gsp and still wasnt

Do people not realise that an Olympic wrestler, 7x King of Pancrase and 2 ELITE level Jiu Jitsu practitioners have all had Anderson on the ground and where able to do NOTHING against him! When Anderson gets taken down he uses his AWESOME rubber guard to shut out his opponents ground game. I dont think GSP will be able to ragdoll Anderson like he does with other WW. 25 mins is more then enough to KO GSP!

given the fact that he's been put on his back as recently as ufc 97 against a guy like leites who doesnt exactly have the best takedowns in the world shows that he still needs to improve with tkd. you are right though about his bjj improving and that he can fend for himself for the most part on the ground. my point is that andersn is definetly beatable if you can make it a grappling match. and someone with gsp's skill set, not neccessarly his size. would be matchup nightmare for anderson
