I liked the original novel by Pierre Boulle. It resembles more the Tim Burton version, in the way that the protagonist goes to a different planet and comes back in the end.
I found that the OG book was lacking in the obvious irony present in the movie, therefore making it one of the few instances where I will declare movie>book.
That wasnt a bad attempt at a remake or alternate version. When would sequel come out and its a bit long over due some 9 years now or is it 10 years!!!
Im pretty sure primate grooming goes back beyond the human species, we've all seen apes picking parasites and grooming each other in movies, at zoos, etc so it makes sense that this dumber breed of man would still groom themselves... plus Nova had to look smoking hot for the audience, after all she had to make an impression WITHOUT dialogue...
