Air guns get no respect. Until you pop a line of bottle caps at roughly 100 feet standing freehand then say "you wanna give it a try?". Alot of "real gunners" can't shoot springers worth a damn right off ive found. They are a good way to make enimies at the rang too lol.
Sure.. you can get my address or email from my main website. Just look at my youtube profile for the data. I'm happy to look at it, chrony it, and test it to see what may be the issue. The .22 350 mag is one of my favorite guns hands down.
i have lossed all intrest in shooting my rws 350 magnum i cant get it to hit in the same spot twice,, tighted and retighted all screws bolts tried 3 different scopes... 20 different pellets, i give up rick, just want to throw it over a hill, i email uramax and they said i had to have the origial recepit. well good luck air gunning. TOby
.22 or .177? I've had some folks say the same thing and it has either been something simple like a scope mount, or, and this is usually the case, they just have real problems getting the technique down... If you like, I'm happy to look at it for you.. Just hit me via email and we can chat.
do you think you can the new webly patriot .177 or .22 that would be intresting to see you test the new quatrro trigger to see what all the hype is about and to see the quality compared to lets say a rws 350
You show your ignorance. I have several real guns.. from pistols to rifles to shotguns.. I actually prefer shooting my airguns to most of my firearms. Generally, airguns require more skill AND I can shoot them without having to drive to a range. Most every "real gun" person that has taken the time to shoot some of my airguns, always wants to take one home. It is a great hobby that requires a different skill set to traditional "guns."
yep.. I was just using the force to aim.. and the trap was 10 feet away or so.. hardly need sights or a scope for that range. I just sight down the barrel.
It took a lot of hard work and work for no pay or any form of compensation to get here. I'm very blessed to have a wife that supported the time that I spent with my "hobby" for the hope that one day it would earn an income. I aslo own my own business and have for the last 11+ years. It is a fairly successful web consulting business.
hi Rick, i enjoy watching your videos, infact i think i've watched every single one of it.. but one thing that i'm looking forward to is for you to make a review on Hatsan air rifles, i heard that they have one of the most powerful rifles in the market..how true is it? do you do reviews on pyramidair only?
Thank you for your kind words. Right now, I'm pulling my reviews from products that Pyramyd Air sells. I would love to review some more of the Hatsan line however. I just need to get a source and work out the logistics.
I want to get a custom crosman pistol with a 10 inch barrel in the 22. cal version, and crosman doesn't state the fps, do you think it is good for small pest control at really close ranges.
do you think you could put the response card a bit higher that you read from rick it would look better in the reviewing, at 11.7 flbs we hunt squirell rabbit rat and pigeon out to 40 mtrs some folk shoot further but taking the wind into consideration many stick at around 40 in the uk..that using the airarms diablo fields at 16grain in .22 and 8.44 in .177( jsb exacts..and fx domes are the same pellet)
im looking for a rifle to go hunting with but im finding it hard to find a rifle thats accurate and powerful does this have the stopping power to take a rabbit or rat?
This is a nice rifle. However keep in mind that the support and service of BSA is quite poor. From a lot of directions I keep hearing that when returning a rifle for warranty. Expect a long waiting time.
I don't personally sell anything except some left over stuff on my website. used scopes, a few rifles, etc. I personally would not ship overseas.. but PyramydAir, my sponsor, does ship overseas.
hey can you please review the beeman mach 12.5 i think it shoots more powerfull than any spring gun on the market and it is pretty accurate. I just want to know your opinion on it
good review rick. I got a BSA Varmint Scope on my Benjamin Marauder. its a BSA 4-16x40 Mil dot scope. Do you think that's a good combo BTW I'm using a Leapers bench shooting bi-pod.
i'm a gunsmith in the UK and after working on these guns for a while now i can tell you that the only difference between gamo and bsa guns is that the ones marked bsa have bsa barrels in them instead if the random bit of gas pipe that gamo seems to use.
Well that would make sense.. The barrel looked like it was made from a different material, certainly from a different process. The "working" of the gun feels very different than my CFX and I know that the trigger mechanism is also different.. It would be nice if you could take more of that 2nd stage out of the trigger..
Anyway, thanks for the input it is very much appreciated.
Gamo owns BSA.. it is a "better" version of their CFX rifle. The basic gun looks virtually identical but the barrel seems different and my be why it has such great accuracy. The craftsmanship also seems much better.
They certainly can be. "Generally" you will get better accuracy from a fixed barrel gun. The Gamo CFX is a good example. I shoot .25" groups at 10 yards indoors all the time with ease.. Like I said in the video, it all depends on how it made.
Hey there.. I figured you like this rifle.. I was impressed.. I like my CFX as well, but the Polaris certainly "feel" like a better rifle.. less buzz and less recoil. A really sweet shooting gun.
