  • Air guns get no respect. Until you pop a line of bottle caps at roughly 100 feet standing freehand then say "you wanna give it a try?". Alot of "real gunners" can't shoot springers worth a damn right off ive found. They are a good way to make enimies at the rang too lol.

  • @thirdarc

I've had the same experience. It takes a completely different skill set.

    Cheers

    Rick

  • thanks for your help rick,,, just the 350 magnum is a paperweight to me now, ill sent it to you and see what you come up with sir. ps is 22 caliber.

  • @tobysteve1

Sure.. you can get my address or email from my main website. Just look at my youtube profile for the data. I'm happy to look at it, chrony it, and test it to see what may be the issue. The .22 350 mag is one of my favorite guns hands down.

    Rick

  • i have lossed all intrest in shooting my rws 350 magnum i cant get it to hit in the same spot twice,, tighted and retighted all screws bolts tried 3 different scopes... 20 different pellets, i give up rick, just want to throw it over a hill, i email uramax and they said i had to have the origial recepit. well good luck air gunning. TOby

  • @tobysteve1

.22 or .177? I've had some folks say the same thing and it has either been something simple like a scope mount, or, and this is usually the case, they just have real problems getting the technique down... If you like, I'm happy to look at it for you.. Just hit me via email and we can chat.

    cheers.

    Rick

  • danggggg its bsa is the best of the best now there gamo run

  • the cap was still on

  • do you think you can the new webly patriot .177 or .22 that would be intresting to see you test the new quatrro trigger to see what all the hype is about and to see the quality compared to lets say a rws 350

  • @alrodrodriguez

If I can get my hands on one.. I certainly will.

    Rick

  • @osamaBinladin34

I believe you can.. just not here in the states.

    Rick

  • Airguns are weak and fake and gay. Get a real gun.

  • @SupremeAmerican

You show your ignorance. I have several real guns.. from pistols to rifles to shotguns.. I actually prefer shooting my airguns to most of my firearms. Generally, airguns require more skill AND I can shoot them without having to drive to a range. Most every "real gun" person that has taken the time to shoot some of my airguns, always wants to take one home. It is a great hobby that requires a different skill set to traditional "guns."

    Rick

  • was it just me or was the scopes covers on when you took aim at 6:25?

  • @busdriver824

yep.. I was just using the force to aim.. and the trap was 10 feet away or so.. hardly need sights or a scope for that range. I just sight down the barrel.

    Rick

  • Man I wish I could do what you do for a living...

  • @lambchops1493

It took a lot of hard work and work for no pay or any form of compensation to get here. I'm very blessed to have a wife that supported the time that I spent with my "hobby" for the hope that one day it would earn an income. I aslo own my own business and have for the last 11+ years. It is a fairly successful web consulting business.

    Rick

  • @AirGunWeb Well, I'm glad your doing what you love and your family supports you. Good work, and keep it up!

  • hi Rick, i enjoy watching your videos, infact i think i've watched every single one of it.. but one thing that i'm looking forward to is for you to make a review on Hatsan air rifles, i heard that they have one of the most powerful rifles in the market..how true is it? do you do reviews on pyramidair only?

  • @cyberjuanb

Thank you for your kind words. Right now, I'm pulling my reviews from products that Pyramyd Air sells. I would love to review some more of the Hatsan line however. I just need to get a source and work out the logistics.

    Rick

  • @airgunweb have you ever done a crosman g1 exteme review if you havent could you please do one so ill know the correct fps for it thanks

  • @tykee19

Years ago.. you can check my website for the article. Just visit my channel and look at my profile for the link.

    Rick

  • this or rws 34?

  • @2002ZRX1200R

difficult choice.. I'd probably pick the Polaris over the 34..

    Rick

  • @AirGunWeb What was the size of the target?

  • @MonstaMunchies1

The black in the target is 1.2" (diameter) It looks much bigger on camera

    Rick

  • I want to get a custom crosman pistol with a 10 inch barrel in the 22. cal version, and crosman doesn't state the fps, do you think it is good for small pest control at really close ranges.

  • @XxrushxX1

10 yards and in on small game.. maybe.. I'll be upgrading my 2240 soon with a longer barrel. We'll be able to see from there.

    Rick

  • do you think you could put the response card a bit higher that you read from rick it would look better in the reviewing, at 11.7 flbs we hunt squirell rabbit rat and pigeon out to 40 mtrs some folk shoot further but taking the wind into consideration many stick at around 40 in the uk..that using the airarms diablo fields at 16grain in .22 and 8.44 in .177( jsb exacts..and fx domes are the same pellet)

  • @moonbear

I'm always looking for better ways to produce the videos.. I'll see what I can do on this month's vids to improve.

    Cheers!

    Rick

  • Do you like Stoeger Arms X20 Wood Breakbarrel Air Rifle?

I heard its good for the money... What do you think?

  • @rossdaboss10001

I've heard the same thing.. I haven't tested one yet but hope to.

    Rick

  • im looking for a rifle to go hunting with but im finding it hard to find a rifle thats accurate and powerful does this have the stopping power to take a rabbit or rat?

  • @MrAirsoftking96

This is a great rifle for up to 20 yards. beyond that you'd need a bit more power.

    Rick

  • what are the pros and cons for the gamo pba bullet

  • @XxrushxX1

pros... don't know of any.. cons: expensive, inaccurate, inconsistent.. etc..

    Rick

  • is it true that gamo pba can ruin the barrel of your airgun

  • @XxrushxX1

I don't think it will ruin the barrel of the gun.. The bigger concern is that it is generally poorly made and very inaccurate.

    Cheers

    Rick

  • are lead free pellets better than lead?

  • @XxrushxX1

generally no.. they are way less accurate.

    Rick

  • thumbs up if he looks baked at the beginning.

  • i made a video of mine at: shooting test : type in on youtube thingsoftheweek air rifle shooting.

  • Thanks very much, but I don't think I would be getting this gun, what do you think of the Meteor Mk7?

  • @xB1akey

I've not handled one yet.. I hope to. BSA needs to send me one to review!

    Cheers

    Rick

  • Is this made of wood, or is it synthetic? it might turn out to be my first gun, so i was wondering what would be better.

  • @xB1akey

This is wood and steel.. great gun.

    Rick

  • hey i love your videos can you plese do review on gamo extreme co2

    tnx

  • @TheSTUBIcar

I've actually got one of those. I'll see what I can work in to the rotation.

    Cheers!

    Rick

  • This is a nice rifle. However keep in mind that the support and service of BSA is quite poor. From a lot of directions I keep hearing that when returning a rifle for warranty. Expect a long waiting time.

  • I was wondering buddy, do you ship overseas?

  • @robsteries

I don't personally sell anything except some left over stuff on my website. used scopes, a few rifles, etc. I personally would not ship overseas.. but PyramydAir, my sponsor, does ship overseas.

    Cheers

    Rick

  • hey can you please review the beeman mach 12.5 i think it shoots more powerfull than any spring gun on the market and it is pretty accurate. I just want to know your opinion on it

  • @airgunman971

I'll add it to my list. Thanks for the suggestion!

    Rick

  • @AirGunWeb thank you i would believe that is is more accurate in .22 cal

  • Another great review even when you "took aim" with the lens caps on lol

  • @angryfishmonger

Like that.. I figured that I could sight down the barrel.. I was only shooting 10 feet or so..

Thanks for the kind words too.

    Rick

  • Pyramyd says it's a 13mm dove tail.

  • @filoIII

it is 11mm.. That is the mount that I used anyway..

    Rick

  • Another great video from you! Always enjoying watching them. :)

  • @bfgguns

    Thanks!

    Rick

  • nice to see that some companies actually care about accuracy over velocity, nice one hole shot group

  • @theplaid1

It is a very nice rifle.. I'd love to try it with a new trigger. I bet I could get even better groups.

    Rick

  • good review rick. I got a BSA Varmint Scope on my Benjamin Marauder. its a BSA 4-16x40 Mil dot scope. Do you think that's a good combo BTW I'm using a Leapers bench shooting bi-pod.

  • @DeadmanXX08

That sounds like a good setup!

    Rick

  • i'm a gunsmith in the UK and after working on these guns for a while now i can tell you that the only difference between gamo and bsa guns is that the ones marked bsa have bsa barrels in them instead if the random bit of gas pipe that gamo seems to use.

  • @ThePhantomtickler

Well that would make sense.. The barrel looked like it was made from a different material, certainly from a different process. The "working" of the gun feels very different than my CFX and I know that the trigger mechanism is also different.. It would be nice if you could take more of that 2nd stage out of the trigger..

Anyway, thanks for the input it is very much appreciated.

    Cheers.

    Rick

  • looks so much like a gamo...

  • @vikymoejoe

Gamo owns BSA.. it is a "better" version of their CFX rifle. The basic gun looks virtually identical but the barrel seems different and my be why it has such great accuracy. The craftsmanship also seems much better.

    Rick

  • is a airgun that u cock from under the barrel have more accurcey then a break barrel airgun.

  • @TNTslayer1997

They certainly can be. "Generally" you will get better accuracy from a fixed barrel gun. The Gamo CFX is a good example. I shoot .25" groups at 10 yards indoors all the time with ease.. Like I said in the video, it all depends on how it made.

    Rick

  • it looks nice but its shit

  • BSA is definitely one of the highest quality air rifles that are making this days.

  • @Jordenkl

Hey there.. I figured you like this rifle.. I was impressed.. I like my CFX as well, but the Polaris certainly "feel" like a better rifle.. less buzz and less recoil. A really sweet shooting gun.

    Rick

  • @ 6:22 didn't you have the scope guards on ?

  • @hanzithaking

I did.. when I test fired the gun I was only 10' from my target.. I just sighted down the barrel :)

    Cheers

    Rick

  • @AirGunWeb oh ok just tricked me to believe that you were superman :P

  • @hanzithaking

shhhh... i don't want anyone to know.. ;)

    Rick

  • Beautiful gun, although the price is a little too steep for my tastes.

  • great review! Is this compatible with the GRTIII or GRT IV trigger upgrade? Thanks!

  • @damattalizer

I'm not completely sure.. it if is, that would solve the only down side to this rifle.

    Rick
