I got torched numerous times at a low level then went back after all major quests and lots of sidequests, at level 17 (rest of part at 16). Finally won with my pc (mage using ranged magic), leliana (with spearthrower bow and ice arrows), alistair (using wardens crossbow and ice bolts). I had these 3 stood spread out at range just constantly shooting, and also set to take potions at less than 50% health). I sent shale as tank to stand to side of dragon's legs and pummel. Not too bad in end.

I dont get how you were da only one attacking and why you just had Wynne and Shale. You should've brought maybe Oghren, Shale and Wynne or Alistair, Shale and Wynne. Shale wouldve been a great distraction and *maybe* Sten, Alistair, Oghren or Dog. Then you and Wynne wouldve gotten perfect attacking bonuses. My Opinion.

i didnt even know how to kill her i just winged it with alistair wynne and my dog everyone died except my dog she had full heal and all my dog could do is howl to stun and that didnt work on her so all i could do was press A and i still killed her hahahaha :D

Wade in denerim can make dragon scale armor with fire resistance, if you invest you can get an upgraded set to, and after killing hig dragon you can get dragon bone plate, the best armor in the game. you need 3 drace scale for each set and dragon scale for the advance set. totaly 6 drace scales and 1 dragon scale. you also need some gold to invest in better armor, i think 30 gold total or 50, not sure. :)

@SuperQubie original game, once you have given Morrigan a grimoire (i think it's spelt that way) she will want Flemmeths one, so she sends you off to go kill her. The First Grimoire can be found in the circle tower

There are actually plenty of easier ways to kill her.

If u are using an archer, why not go for Shale's rock mastery tree? It provides greater critical chance and attack speed. This makes u able to use the archer's aim talent with little penalty.

Also u could use leliana, her song of courage also gives u a nice boost.

Wade's drakeskin armor are ok, but there are a lot of better choices. Using a greater warmth balm would have the same effect and u would gain a lot from other equipment.

Greater Warm Balm doesn't work for the length of the battle, though. If you have 2 sets of drake armor, you can put one on Leliana and the other on your hero and have them shoot arrows up front, Shale in the middle auraing, and Wynne behind Shale healing. Only Leliana and your hero will ever get hit, but the drake armor and the aura will minimize the damage and give Wynne enough of a chance to heal them both. If your hero is a Ranger, you can summon an animal to draw fire.

Shale is an add-on and you get wynne at the circle tour if you help her restore it she comes with you when you save it. But she will leave if you do things she doesnt like. I destroyed the Urn and she left me.

Nicely done taking done Flemeth, I gotta say, that was a unique way of killing her. My first time fighting her, I had Alastair tanking, Leliana shooting arrows, Wynne healing and my Rogue stabbing her in the ass (just a note here, Flemeth does not appreciate people stabbing her ass, her kicks hurt).

Best way to kill Flemeth is to have 1 tank (either Shale, Alistair or yourself) and 2 ranged attackers (so archer or mage) and a healer (Wynne). Then just nuke the hell out of her. Have Wynne use Stonefist on Flemeth when she grabs the tank (due if Shale tanks, she can't be grabbed, so less problem then). Let the tank have some fire resistance armor and it's a piece of cake as long as you keep the other party members at a far distance.

You get Shale from one of the first editions of dragon origin cases exclusively, so they say, it is a female whos name is Shale, ironic lol and there is a QUEST to it, it's easy though.

there is a more easy way.. just go shale stone heart on attack the back left leg of the dragon on the left side all high dragons cannot do anything u can try if u want enjoy killing dragons easy ( u only take like maybe 120 total if u do it right and if the dragon turns turn with him to his back left leg)

i did it as a solo mage, i tryed using liliana and the assassin to shoot it but it killed them in like 2 hits each, i spammed hp pots and walking bomb, curse or mortality and then used every dps spell i had, then resorted to my normal spells, using a potion after every seconds hit and hiding behind the hil so it cant pull me.
