Thx for helping me understand how to find the vertex! really helps!!! But ny teacher says that he wants us to make a table, and find other points on the parabola; on the graph, do u know how to find other points on the parabola? lmk, thanks! :)

but how would you find the vertex of y = (x + 4)(x - 2)
i cant find any youtube videos that have this function :/
ImTheAwesomeGirl1 1 month ago
@ImTheAwesomeGirl1 i think you have to either foil (x+4)(x-2) or make them equal zero so x+4=o and x+2=0

i need help it says "find the vertex form of f(x)=2x^2+24x+62"

@rc843 1. Find the vertex, according to this method.
2. Write out this: y = ___ ( x ___ )^2 + _____
3. In the first blank, write whatever you have in front of x^2 (for you, it's "2")
4. In the second blank, write the x-coordinate of the vertex, but flip the sign
5. In the third blank, write the y-coordinate of the vertex, and keep the sign the same
