it's videos like this that demonize ambien, i've been taking ambien for 2 years now and have never acted out in this way. ambien is defiantly the best sleep med by far, works quick {10 - 15 min} and doesn't leave you with nasty hangover like others do and did i hear that lady in the background say: "it's a hormone pill" ....major WTF moment right there. BTW: i'm suppa high in ambien right now! wooooooooowoooo!!!11

This is a very accurate depiction of what I experience..if I take two then I lose control of my balance and it feels very much like being drunk. It doesnt make me sleepy..just super relaxed. And memory does seem very hazy or nonexistent the next morning.

I took 5mg ambien and I didn't sleep. I did not hallucinate. The only thing I could feel is that my body felt relaxed absolutely nothing affected my head, no headaches or weird sensations. It does not knock you out. These people are all liars that claim to hallucinate on ambien, like they want attention. I don't believe it.

last night after i took my ambien to go to sleep i began to hallucinate about half an hour ater i took it. I was watching TV, but it was not on, an object was sticking out of my TV with writing on it that was blurry that i could not read. the TV and shelf below and next to it began getting larger and smaller and looked grainy. then i began talking to my fan and i could understand the noises it was making as English, haha. all while this was happened i couldnt stop laughing and yelling.

I've been taking sleeping medicine on and off for 7 years. Ambien is the only thing that really works. If you look on wikipedia and compare it to other sleeping pills, you will understand why you don't build much of a tolerance to it. I don't hallucinate, but I do things that I don't remember all the time. Be careful!!!

I have to take two 10mg pills of Ambian for sleep, if it actually helps, doctor perscibed only 1 10mg, but it also has its benefits of giving you a trip before you get to sleep. oh how I love that feeling of being able to look at a picture and see the objects moving on it. Ambian also helps with my head pain, I think this because it really dosent do a good job of putting me to sleep so it just works on something else and my head dont feel as bad. I also use a wimpie drug called fioricetw/Codein

Wow, that's what I use 2 do the first couple of weeks. I don't get that way anymore. I take my 10mg each night & it still works 4 sleep. I guess I must of built some tolerance to it's weird effects:)

ambiens have been used on people that are in vegetative states, that the doctors basically give up hope on.. once the pill kicks in these people begin to talk and move, when the brain goes through trauma it shuts down some of its chemicals and apparently the ambien awakens them again...

It's the only medication that helps me sleep and makes me not feel like a zombie the next day. I hope it doesn't get "pulled" because of morons. I have taken more of them while under the influence--but there are many ways to make this not happen..I lock mine away. I've been diagnosed with severe insomnia and I've been on every type of sleep pill under the sun--this was the best for me.

Sleep is essential and if this stuff helps you then I can understand why you defend it. However you say yourself that you have done things while under th influence. What if was something like taking a fatal amount. Lets say you do lock them up but do something else that's fatal. I've read alot of people saying they do things that they don't remember, you have to admit that's just not safe. So it's not black and white, here we have something that's helped you & is dangerous at the same time.

It does this to everyone I know!...jeez. They never show this part in their commercials with everyone in their cool, blue glowing bedrooms, waking up to a perfect CGI Sun. It's the new, relatively safe LSD, and nobody cares because it's making Sanofi-Aventis filthy rich. My insurance denied my Ambien script today and gave no reason. I normally get a refill once/month. i thought it was illegal to rx 2 10 mg pills for sleep as the dr says only one 10mg as the highest dose.

i used to get 2 10mgs a nite but now with the stricter laws (1999 or2000) i can only get 1 and being used to 2 i had to switch to restoril i preferred the ambien.

i do not get the hallucinations people speak of but i do silly things i do not remember

I used to take 10/10mg per night, every night. Sometimes drank alcohol with them. I have no idea how I survived, and I did this for about a year and a half. A few years ago, I just stopped cold turkey because it was really taking it's toll. Funny thing, I had never taken drugs or alcohol before I used to take Ambien. Sometimes, I would wake up, and not remember taking even more of the pills during the night. Be careful with this stuff!

dude i wouldnt do more than 3. these are the pills used in suicides. Take too many and you'll pass out permminently. And for God sakes dude DON'T drink alcohol and the ambien together! people have died because of the accidental combination. i take ambien but i dont let it get out of hand. If i want fun then ill take 2 or a litle more and not eat with it so the pills cant get dissolved in any food and can take its FULL effect. be careful on the amount of pills and alcohol mixed.
