  • My doors only open to the inside. Except the front door. How likely is it that you break the door when using this?

  • @DrMabuse2006 It depends how sturdy your door is, but usually having your door open towards you is no problem as long as you're careful to ensure that you hang the door anchor on the hinge side of the door. Hanging the anchor on the hinge side of the door is usually sturdy enough to prevent the door from being pulled open while you exercise. Also, with doors that open towards you, it's extra important that you ensure that the door is completely closed before you start exercising.

  • @modeathletics

    Ok thanks.

  • @modeathletics

By the by. Know where I can get these things?

  • @modeathletics

Ah never mind. I missed that last bit where you say the adres.

  • need a little help got a little extra money thinking about buying this but its pretty expensive

  • Is your cat tranquilized? The kitty didn't move through the entire workout. He was like "yawn... working out bores me". In any case, great video bro.

  • @VSUPARHAM Haha, thanks, man. Yeah, my cat is possibly the laziest cat in the entire world. He loves two things: eating and sleeping.

  • Thank you for answering my questions, I bought the trx pro because of the safety latch on top, they are both good, I love the workouts, and I get so sore after using it.

  • Comment removed

  • One question. Can you correct uneven muscles using the trx? Thanks

  • @shadowofourselfs Yes, the TRX is great for correcting muscle imbalances.

  • @shadowofourselfs hi can you please tell me if you recommend trx force or trx pro i am a women and work out 3 to 4 times a week and love the trx thank you

  • @linasmith167 TRX Professional and TRX Force are functionally identical pieces of exercise equipment. The only difference between them is the colour of the straps. If you want black and yellow straps, get the pro. If you want olive drab straps, get the force. The pro and force also come with different workouts, but I haven't seen the workouts, so check out the TRX website for more details on the workouts included with each product.

  • Good video and lovely cat!

  • Good video, very succinct.

  • Hey mate. I just wanted to know what you think of the Human Trainer from Astone Fitness?

    Cheers.

  • @Armatige The Human Trainer is ok, but I no longer use or like non-rotational suspension gyms, so it's not a product I'd recommend to anyone. The suspension gym that I currently use is called the CrossCore War Machine.

  • The Cat really doesn't give a monkeys does he. He's just not impressed.

  • does this work for a fat guy like me

  • @unprofessionalvids Absolutely.

  • Inspiring! And love you groove cat. Thanks

  • How does this compare to lifting weights, especially regarding the development of strength and power; is it sopmething that enhances what you get from weight training or is it something that can replace it? Also, I love your cat, and I am sending the exercise-police to pick him up on public lounging charges.

  • @rmsolympic1 Yeah, I'd also like to know the same. I'm stuck in an office for 8 hours most of the day when at work. And I'm thinking about buying this to use there on breaks

  • Can anyone tell me the difference between lat pulldown and pullups ?

  • @pedritooo09 Lat pulldown is done on a machine where you sit and pull a bar down towards your upper chest. Pullups are done using a bar that can support your own bodyweight and you hang from the bar and pull your body up towards the bar . Similar movement, but pullups are significantly more functional, challenging, and effective.

  • @modeathletics Thanks! all I wanted to know is the last part

  • I just bought a power tower/ chin up bar. I'm assuming I can do this on it?

  • The CF Borden has finally purchased the TRX system and now I am waiting for the tradesmen to install it. Other bases have had it for a couple of years.

I have seen many of these exercises adapted in other sports such as speedskating.

Bottom line it works... and very useful for my job in the Canadian Forces

  • Great demo. This is a good system. I like it, as it means I know longer worry about losing my balance, especially standing on one leg. All the experts I have spoken to like it.

  • @EasyCompanyAirborne It's good that you've stopped worrying, because you are mentally unbalanced already if you really think that anyone here actually believes that you know any "experts".

  • That cat is chillin'.

  • Nice point on bracing the feet on the door frame rather than the door. Good luck with your own product.

  • i just built my first prototype, these things kick ass!!!! thanks for the info and tips , cheers

  • I dont understand what the advantage is with this thing. Wouldn't just an adjustable pull up bar and a chair to put your feet up on do the same thing?

Rats...just spilled my beer, I'm outta Doritto's too.

Oh, gotta go, pizza guy is here.

  • I don't suppose you would be able to tell anyone why Fitness Anywhere jacked their prices up since November. What sold for $80 now sells for $180 on their website. Looks like about $20 worth of stuff at Lowes.

  • Good comment about the door. I have only one door where I can fit this and it swings outwrds, you just saved me a busted door.

  • hey, cool video. i just bought this product today and the problem im having is that the clasps to ajust the range dont seem to grip properly. this is well risky. am i doing something wrong or is the product faulty? the sales guy didnt really have the answer apart from to push harder on the clasp.. pls can u help me with this? regards

  • That is not a normal problem with the TRX.

I suggest you contact Fitness Anywhere customer service, tell them about the problem you're having with your TRX, and ask for a replacement. They're usually pretty helpful.

  • Do you like the TRX better than the Bodylastics System?

  • No, I don't prefer one over the other.

  • ok but what i mean is can i use this to work out back muscles effectively like pull ups because the iron gym doesnt fit on my door

  • Suspension straps will provide you with a much more complete back workout than you could get with just a pull-up bar.

With a pull-up bar, you're mostly targeting your lats and biceps.

With suspension straps, you can do exercises that work your lats and biceps, but you can also do various rows that target all of the muscles of the upper back, such as the mid and low traps and rhomboids, as well as the rotator cuff muscles.

  • i have p90x but dont have a safe place to do pull ups c?an i use these or a subsitute

  • Great workout, nice cat!

  • I love that cat!

  • Just bought the home kit one that is on sale right now for $169. I can't wait! Its coming from CA though.. a long way to Cape Cod MA

  • seriously, watch the today show Monday morning 5/18/09....that lady who lost 130lbs on there

"cindy Dominique"...I trained her. It's all personal motivation and diet....and a hardcore exercise routine.

  • I'm Sold!

  • Great video. We are doing the same thing, I am in South Florida. I have made several TRX videos as well. Nice job!

  • great video, thanks. I have faux wood, hollow core doors - do you think they would do any damage to the doors?

  • I don't think the door anchors will damage hollow core doors. Most of the weight of the door anchor is put on the frame, and the anchor is padded so as not to mark up your door. Just make sure your door and frame is sturdy enough to support the TRX while you're exercising. Before beginning your workout, make sure to weight-test your TRX to ensure that you've got it setup with a secure anchor point.

  • the cats just chillin lol

  • Hey, I like it, and can see it would be good for some of my clients, also for myself when I'm away on holiday. Love the cat, I have two the same breed. So that's clinched it for me! ;-) Lu x

  • is the cat dead? lol
