Toby is a prick. I tried killing him or scaring him near the end, but he becomes an emotionless invincible douche that can't die or be killed. It must have been a glitch.
@peetahp3 Like most of the times I hear something went wrong, I automatically assume it's a glitch. I haven't recorded that quest yet, as there are some pretty nasty glitches which have so far prevented me from GETTING to that quest, but I will upload it... eventually... so when that comes out, follow along and see if you're doing something wrong, otherwise you may have to restart your game.
Starting the game again isn't realy an option as i'm nearly done with the game. I still haven't done the Lady Grey quest so I can easily start a new family. Thanks for the help though. :)
@peetahp3 Starting a new character isn't an option? Well it seems as if you'll have a hard time doing the perfect playthrough. Of course, unlike me, maybe you don't care about doing that so much... Anyway, I've made well over 20 characters so far, solely because of game breaking glitches or major gaming experience lessening glitches, and still haven't gotten that perfect playthrough.
@Milkcarton246 I am wearing the hollow man coat, hollow man boots, and witchspotter's hat from the See The Future DLC, from the cursed skull quest and bought from Murgo, respectively, explorer trousers, and pauper gloves.
For some unknown reason, I found the first item Toby requires (the Mutton), but when I try to give it to him, the game won't let it accept even if the circle was completely green. Why is this?
@EmotionCreator Someimtes the game doesn't like it when you complete the green circle too early. You have to reset it - so let the A button go for a second, then hold it again. If the situation is that bad, resetting the area altogether could work. Otherwise, who knows, it could always just be another glitch.
@marginis Very bad glitch it has to be, for it has been many days already that it hasn't been accepting it: having your Xbox 360 restarted won't help either, neither letting it be shut down for a moment. And it has been already about a week.
@EmotionCreator Well it's very hard to try and determine what to do with just a few sentences to work with. If you want to send me a pm detailing exactly what's going on (exactly is a key word) I could probably reply with better info. Otherwise, a solution (though not necessarily the best) is always starting a new character. Without that exact info though I could suggest loading a different area or doing another quest then trying again.
After you leave childhood and you start in the main world in the gypsy camp, you should not be able to use weapons until you take them out of the chest. After that, you should always have weapons equipped. If you don't, your game is glitched.
That's a glitch I've actually never heard of. Try loading and reloading areas, mashing on buttons, or quitting and restarting. Ifnone of that works, this is probably a GBG - a game breaking glitch - you'll have to start over. Hope I've helped a bit.
@skaterkid3650 This is really late, but the same thing happened to me. After a really long time of looking around, I realized I didn't finish talking to Reaver. I left him before he killed the sculptor. Once you finish that scene, you can wield your weapon. :D

This is unrelated to this quest but I can't seem to find a video for The Rescue (saving your child from the Hobbe Cave)
I get to the cage where the child is held but when I kill the main Hobbe gaurd no key drops. Can anyone help me with this ?
