@JineshJK I realize and I admire how ya kindly handled our relationship. That is impressive and I am willing to learn with Ya on whatever I can. I will do my best.I went out of order on the soft ware. I sampled and returned three different brands of editing software. before I realized to match the windows 7 operating software with windows7 compatible software and products. because Mac bit rate sound is lower than a cd. as a result the upload youtube google merge brings static to both worlds.

@JineshJK I use corel video studio pro x3 editing software and honest tech vhs to dvd 3.o for an older sony digital hi8 camera and vhs tapes .Honest tech freezes in preview mode however I work around that & just save the project in honeset tech.Then open corel and pull it from honest tech into corel. The mixer feature controls an L&R, audio voice and music. I can mix whatever and let go of the mouse and it brings the mix back to the original gloss. I mean settings.;)

@burlface friend am almost tired of ACHIEVING samsung HDDs!!.. I achieved three samsung hdds(not my opinion) in my publishing centre, didnt last for at least 1year now 2 seagate 1TB barracuda and 1 WD 1TB. No problem yet. Also my friends experienced lot of problems and crashs in Samsung HDDs. Look I just amazed, you spent a lot on your video editing systems and didnt find such quality conscious on HDDs. In dispaly Samsug displays are good. But in HDDs man Samsung...!! utterly poor.

@WEStICE013 Its a lot easier than I had thoght it would be. Its like hooking up the nintendo to the tv for the first time . You can do it. the motherboard instuctions will guide you the most. You can do what I did. Find a build on youtube you like. Check it out. If the comments and parts are all good. Then you might wanna start buying those parts. I had a blast doing it. Its so much easier than it looks let me know what you end up doing.

why intel for editing

@xFoKe I chose intel over amd for editing because of the hyper threading. Also I got a j-spec chip that i can clock to 4.5ghz If I ever want to invest in liquid cooling or an i6. Mainly I saw a video here on youtube of a very similar build for editing. The guy who made the video had good comments and seemed to know what he was doing. I checked out the comparison parts and went for it. I know amd is pretty close in performance , runs cooler stock, and the price is lower.

I recommend doing a raid 5 setup for faster rendering and file transferring, but the rest is great. TAKE THAT, MAC!!!

@hellcomer52 yes i have tested it @ 4.8 and its not stable there. Its fine stock and should I want to stable a higher clocking I could buy a liquid cooling system. I have it @ 2.6 conserve setting. If it needs more speed it will get it. I edit video hd often and play games just fine. call of duty and online golf. No problems.

@sharkxelectronics The faster your processor, the faster your overall system performance. As long as you have software to run things. 2.6 six core would be faster. I think it will take some time for compatible software to settle on the six cores.

Yes I have corel videostudio prox3 which makes rendering very fast! :) Good for i7 and nvidia. Runs great with windows 7. I spent like $1,700 for this build windows 7 and hd editing software was about 2 more bills.

Why did you get a GTX260 when you can get better performance with an ATI 5850 or 5870? No I am neither ATI or Nvidia fan but I go for what is best and new to the makert that shows better performance. 4:10 I notice that the Heatsink fan(TOP) is put on wrong.

@brockskates Yes. This could be configured in Raid 0 which would merge both HDDs to 1 single partition (meaning about 1.5Tb) thus making the read speeds a bit faster. I am also new to this, I just wikipedia and google everything I don't know :)
