@24murraygnr I think that orchestral music playing when Alex realises its Gene Hunt is from The Passion of the Christ soundtrack, i remember somebody else posted it on another Ashes to Ashes video on youtube. The piece of music is called "Mary Goes To Jesus".

Fantastic episode, altho obviously far fetched lol. Imagine in the real world if that was possible tho and this kinda thing happend to say.. 1 in 10 billion people, that when they were on the brink of death, they went back in time to their much earlier life instead of just dying! Many people say the 80's were great times and were a laugh etc but IF this could really happen, it would seriously mess the person right up, mentally I mean! U wouldnt be able to live a new life like she does lol! ;)

Keeley Hawes' work with Philip Glenister has easily made A2A on a par with LOM. She has come out on top and the stories and characters are simply amazing. Wello done to the UK's premiere actress and beauty!

When the BBC gets its act together it can really make some excellent dramas... The writing in Ashes to Ashes isnt as good as Life on Mars but its still good.

I like that serie!!! Here in Canada we saw the real version (in french) of Life on mars...I don't think we'll see this one... I don't like the american version. Why do they do that??

Americans didn't even like the American version. It's been canceled. Most likely, a lot of us watched the original series on BBCA and didn't feel the need to see it redone, especially without Philip Glenister or John Simm.

1981....I was 20 years old, I worked for the Fulham Chronicle and I was used to go to London every Friday with my friends Liz and Caroline into London every weekend into Greek Street to Le Beat Route. We also did our weekends in Bournemouth at The Fox on the Hill. It all seems a long time ago and now I prefer to concentrate on bands like 'Bullet for my valentine' and 'avengended sevenefold'..... message is: Heavy Fucking Metal beats the eighties!!!!!!!!
