Suikoden 2 and 5 are my fav suikoden games by far i still have them :3

and this song is the saddest out this whole list more so if you've played the game and you know which part its at, thumbs up if you agree

@aboodapaloozaSHOW I recently replayed Suikoden 1 via PC emulator. I'm replaying Suikoden 2 today =) If you're looking for a copy of the original Playstation CD though, that's gonna be hard to find coz they're rare =(

The Arshtat scene was sooooo epic. I cried. T_T Suikoden is the master of emotional scenes. Even the music makes you want to cry.

I just started playing this along with Xenosaga..and wow. Some of the best RPG games I have played.

I just wish we could get some really memorable RPG games this generation.

@dontknow511 I know what you mean, but nowadays we get some good RPGs. But nowadays it is also quite a bit more about making money than it was back around Suikoden's era.

@hasseo1 I just wish that the developers today would focus more on story than they would graphics. Final Fantasy XIII is an example of that. They spent so much money on the graphics that the storyline ended up being a total joke.

But yeah, there are some good RPG's out now, but they aren't anything too memorable.

@Wiseman108 I've played that one and yeah, it had it's moments. I would love to play through it again but my Xbox 360 is having some technical troubles and it's out of warranty. Microsoft has basically said:

"Just buy a new one so we can take more of your money" and refused to fix it.

So until I can scrounge another 250$ I'm out of a 360. God I hate M$ so much.

Oh my god, there better be another Suikoden coming out. It's a really amazing series, and even the worst of the series is still equal to most of the competition.

Good luck, and I hope you do find it. It's really a fantastic game. Best in the series in my opinion (Yes, I've played 2.) It's not a light-hearted fantasy story like many RPGs today.

acctually the saddest theme that gets played is after the main characters mother dies and they r branded as criminals its called "Despair and Hope" as well as it being prolly the second or third saddest theme ive ever heard the other contender for this is the sad theme (guitar version) from suikoden 1

This game was awesome up until the end. I hated having to split into 3 parties of 6 and leveling up all those guys you rarely ever used. I agree with Erika though, we need another Suikoden--a real one, not the lame DS version.

I have been listening to alot of these type of songs latly.. and it made me Beat suikoden 1-5 in a little over a 2 week period... Then Alundra. then Xenosaga. followed by FF Tactics.

and I'm now in this.. Saddened Slump. However I feel releaved knowing that what was so sad about these songs.. happened for a greater good.. and i still cry when i hear them = (
