If it's not made into .bat files then you need to open it up in txt then click save as, on the file type click "all file" just under the drop down, the try (name.bat)

ok umm i did the shutdown.bat but all it did was open the cmd and list the command over and over 300 mph down the cmd window while i did it as a shortcut and it worked while abort.bat worked fine

You don't need to create a seperate .bat file. Just right click...go to New=>Shortcut...enter the code as the location.

*sigh*.... right click on it, and... o wait... ummm.... werll u put the original in "My Documents" or somewhere out of the way, and u have a shortcut to it on ur desktop, and u then right click it, chose change icon and search for the cross in the back of the icons thingy...

lmao fixed it, all you do is go to ms config and uncheck shutdown.exe

to mtagstyle: you set the timer to 0 didn't you or 1 you have to start up the computer in safe mode then you have to go to run and shut off the shut down command
