So the god of the universe, the same god who drowned puppies and kittens, old men and pregnant women with a flood, the same god who told the Jews to kill the Midianites and save out the virgins for their own use, the same god who told Abraham to kill his kid then said psyche, now sacrifices himself (Jesus) to himself (the father) to save us from himself (his wrath at our sin). It is so ridiculous.
@2xtrbo i understand why you feel that way but God only did that stuff to try to make people trust in Him. Jesus died on the cross to save your and my sins so that we did not have to go to hell and i am only 12 but i am gonna start praying for you to go to church and sunday school and ask God into your heart. without even knowing you, I am really personally praying for you!
God bless you , and I hope to see you in heaven someday!
@SwImMeRgIrL2104 Jesus' followers thought he was coming "soon" and in Revelation it says that what John was writing would happen soon. It didn't happen. So if you are waiting for Jesus, the same way the Jews are waiting on a Messiah, the same way the Muslims are waiting on the 5th Imam, it makes no sense.
@2xtrbo That's a negative way to look at things. Satan wants us to be miserable and wants us to blame God and Christ for everything bad that happens. Bad things happen, but for a reason. We were sent to Earth to gain bodies and to be tried. If we were not tried, then we would not know good from evil. We would not enjoy the blessings of this life, like love and family. Instead of looking just at the perspective what we have lost, we should look at what we have gained from our bad experiences.
